NANCY GRACE, HOST: Breaking news tonight, live. Arizona on edge after a serial sniper takes aim and fires on unsuspecting drivers on busy

Interstate 10.

Bombshell tonight. Ten shootings in the last 14 days, the latest just as we go to air tonight.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Multiple shootings against American citizens on a highway.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The vehicles struck by bullets or possibly projectiles.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s terrorism. They`re trying to frighten or kill somebody.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And live, Colorado. He takes his wife on a romantic hiking trip. Tragedy strikes. Wife Toni slips while taking a photo, falling to her

death. The husband and their 9-year-old little girl in deep grief until authorities ask, Hey, didn`t your first wife die in a freak accident, too?

Turns out wife number one crushed to death by the family car as hubby takes her on a romantic drive, then asks her to look under the car for a lugnut

when they get a flat. Coincidence or double murder? And does the whole case hinge on the victim`s pink lipstick?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did you push your wife?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Henthorn and his wife, Toni, a well-liked ophthalmologist, were on an anniversary hike in Rocky Mountain National

Park. He said she slipped and fell 50 feet to her death while taking a picture.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did he have a hand in my sister`s death?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And live, a Lakewood mom of six goes missing at a local farmer`s market, her white van found across from her flower stand, doors still

hanging wide open.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A young mother of six is missing, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious. Tonight, family and police

need your help.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And live, a fake wedding scam rakes in at least $3 million, that we know of. But what a deal. They arrange a fake marriage, complete with a

fake honeymoon and fake photo album.

Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.

Bombshell tonight. Arizona on edge after a serial sniper takes aim and fires on unsuspecting drivers on busy Interstate 10, 10 shootings in the

last 14 days, the latest shooting just as we go to air tonight.

Straight out to Tammy Rose, investigative reporter at News 20 chopper. Tammy, thanks for being with us. I`m trying to get an understanding as to

how these shootings are taking place there on Interstate 10. It`s my belief that the sniper, the shooter, is shooting from a fixed position,

such as an overpass.

What can you tell me, Tammy Rose, about where the shootings take place on I-10?

TAMMY ROSE, INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER: Well, this is a very busy stretch of freeway on Interstate 10. They`ve been happening anywhere from 19th Avenue

to 83rd Avenue. It`s about a 10-mile stretch, where there are several overpasses, where possibly a shooter may be taking aim.

There are no close houses near the freeway. There are, obviously, some side streets and overpasses where more than likely, the person is taking

aim, Nancy.

GRACE: Hold on. Let`s talk about what you just said -- no houses, but there are some side streets. What I`m interested in is the trajectory path

of some of these bullets.

For those of you just joining us, Arizona on edge, a serial sniper taking shots at random drivers as they go along the interstate. And we here at

NANCY GRACE have done a thorough examination of the dates and the times these shootings are taking place to try and sort out some type of a

pattern.

I notice a lot of these take place in the early morning hours -- you know, 3:30, 4:30, 5:00 o`clock AM. Then we`ve got a lot of shootings in the

afternoon, when you`d think somebody would be getting off work, 5:50 and 8:30, at the height of rush hour. You`ve got a couple of weekend

shootings, but does the shooter have an every day workaday job?

I guarantee you, it`s a man. I guarantee you it`s a white male. And based on the hours of the day the shootings take place, we`re trying to figure

out some sort of a pattern.

Tammy Rose with us, investigative reporter at News 20 chopper there in Phoenix. Tammy, the trajectory path -- are any of the bullets coming from

upwards down?

ROSE: It seems like it`s coming from a very close area, like an overpass, not too far away. It`s possibly -- we heard from one of the people that it

might have been a BB that had struck their vehicle. So it`s, like, a low- caliber weapon. So I don`t think that the person who is shooting is doing it from that far away. That`s what leads me to believe...

[20:05:10]GRACE: Now, I know, Tammy, that one of the shootings for sure they believe was a BB, but other shootings, we believe, are from a higher-

caliber weapon that will cause death.

Take a look at this -- driving home from work, driving to work in that rush hour traffic, trying to get to your office when an unknown sniper on one of

these overpasses takes aim.

And it`s not just shooting at the car and the people in the car because we`ve also done a look -- taken a look at this. The victims are not

connected. They don`t all work at one place. They don`t go to the same church or synagogue. They`re not members of any particular group that ties

them together.

These are random shootings, aren`t they, Tammy?

ROSE: They are random. And police aren`t able to give us a lot of information if the same type of weapon is being used. But the first one

happened on August 29th at about 11:00 o`clock in the morning and then a little bit later, another one and then another one late at night.

The following week, a police officer was actually traveling in his own personal vehicle when a bullet had shattered the windshield of his vehicle.

Now, he was not hurt. And then also, a 13-year-old was hurt after a bullet struck the vehicle she was traveling in, shattered the glass, and part of

the glass had struck her in the ear and hurt her.

So it`s very random. No specifically (sic) person is being targeted, and it`s happening all hours of the day.

GRACE: We don`t think a specific person is being targeted. There`s always the outside chance that the random shootings are done in an effort to cover

up the shooting of a specific person.

Everybody, take a look at busy interstate -- it`s Interstate 10, I-10 in Arizona, coming at all hours of the day or night.

Candace Trunzo, senior news editor, Dailymail.com -- what more can you tell me, Candace?

CANDACE TRUNZO, DAILYMAIL.COM (via telephone): Well, I mean, the police are not really giving out too many clues right now, Nancy. They`re telling

the public to be vigilant. In fact, many people are just not getting on the highway at all...

GRACE: Vigilant? Hold on, Candace Trunzo. Unless you`re driving with your head out of the sunroof like Herman Munster, how are you going to be

vigilant looking over an overpass unless you try to scope it out as you approach it?

TRUNZO: Absolutely.

GRACE: But even then, you can`t really see on the other side of the overpass because some of these shots are coming after the person goes under

the overpass from behind, as well.

TRUNZO: That`s absolutely true. And the other thing is, it`s not even just the -- you know, the bullet hitting the car. It`s that shock of

something happening, swerving and having an accident that way. So I mean, there`s so many ways that people can get hurt.

You know, they feel that this is domestic terrorism. So many people have been affected by now. And you know, it`s very scary and very reminiscent

of the horrors that took place, like, 13 years ago when that Beltway sniper...

GRACE: The D.C. sniper.

TRUNZO: ... when those two guys, Malvo and Muhammad, were captured after killing 17 people.

GRACE: Totally at random, completely at random those victims. At the time, I was working in and out of D.C., and I will never forget the fear

that blanketed the whole city when the D.C. snipers were at large.

With me right now, Greg Danas, ballistics/firearm expert at G&G Firearm Experts. Greg, thanks for being with us. I don`t know of a way to do

this, but can you determine the type of gun or guns used based on the bullet hole?

GREG DANAS, BALLISTICS/FIREARMS EXPERT (via telephone): That`s a great question, Nancy. You know, we have heard the terms bullets and

projectiles, and they need to be clarified. Normally, in some kind of investigation, a police investigation, they`re looking for trace evidence,

and the trace evidence, of course, is going to be the evidence that`s left behind at the crime scene.

So what we have here, potentially, is we have vehicles that are struck, vehicles that leave (ph) angles of entry, or incident angles, so they`re

determined -- and I heard earlier you asked the question whether they`re coming from the top down, meaning from the overpass down into the road.

Well, that`s what law enforcement (INAUDIBLE) has to learn and establish immediately. They have to determine whether they`re projectiles that are

propelled by air, such as BBs and pellets, round BBs or pellets that (INAUDIBLE)

GRACE: Well, can you tell that from the actual bullet hole?

DANAS: ... like an hourglass.

GRACE: Can you tell that from the bullet hole? I`ve never heard of that being done.

DANAS: Well, that`s what happened. Technology today, and ballistics evidence and trace evidence technology would allow for law enforcement

officers to be able to examine the vehicle, examine whether or not there`s any evidence left within the vehicle, which would be a projectile coming

from a rifle, which would be called a center-fired (ph) cartridge, where you have propellants and primers and high-velocity (INAUDIBLE) bullets, or

handguns, for that matter, and even smaller-caliber firearms, such as .22- caliber (INAUDIBLE) little tiny cartridges. Although they have...

[20:10:18]GRACE: Got it.

DANAS: ... tremendous velocity, they`re still propelled by propellants.

GRACE: Well, with me is Greg Danas...

DANAS: So they`re trying to make a distinction between...

GRACE: ... from G&G Firearms Experts. What I`m trying to figure out is from the bullet hole alone, you can determine the type of bullet. I don`t

think you can. Of course, if you`ve got evidence inside the car, it`s going to be the projectile, the bullet itself.

And of course, Greg Danas, once you`ve got the bullet, it can be matched absolutely to a particular gun, once you get the gun, right?

DANAS: Well, that`s correct. You know, when that bullet strikes that vehicle, it can leave copper behind. That`s evidence of a copper-jacketed

projectiles, and the projectile is referenced as, of course, a bullet in flight. So as long as we understand how these projectiles...

GRACE: When you say...

DANAS: ... or whatever type of guns they`re fired from...

GRACE: ... it might leave copper behind on the hole itself, what type of bullet would that be that leaves copper behind on the hole as it goes...

(CROSSTALK)

DANAS: Yes, it could be a number of different guns because ammunition on the whole is manufactured for rifles...

GRACE: Right.

DANAS: ... high-powered rifles, and recreational firearms, even military- style...

GRACE: Well, do you have any idea, Greg Danas, that this is...

DANAS: ... guns. They have...

(CROSSTALK)

DANAS: ... copper coating on a lead core. But the internal...

GRACE: Do you have any doubt that this is being...

DANAS: ... of that would be lead.

GRACE: ... done by a long gun, Greg?

DANAS: Yes, by a long gun. That`s what we (INAUDIBLE) long guns.

GRACE: Absolutely.

Justin Freiman, what more can you tell me about this? Everybody, as we go to air, we learn about another shooting. And it doesn`t matter to this guy

whether it`s a family, a mom, children in the car. They don`t care. In fact, one young girl has already been struck. A lot of shootings taking

place, 10 that we know of in about 14 days.

Justin, what more do we know? How can we identify this guy?

JUSTIN FREIMAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): Nancy, one of the very frightening things here is some of these projectiles, these bullets,

so to speak, have gone through windshields. And as everybody knows who drives a car, a windshield is pretty sturdy. They`re made to withstand

different things hitting it. So for something to go through it, it was probably a bullet.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

[20:16:13]UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The number of potential shootings is piling up.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Random shooting at these vehicles, very terrifying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: One official calling these incidents domestic terrorism.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A bus (ph), bullets through a windshield, passenger windows, a headlight...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is a cold-blooded crime.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: At this hour, 10 shootings on busy I-10 in the last 14 days, Arizona on edge.

Take a look at the groupings of the shootings. As we go to air, another shooting goes down. Look at this. This says to me, Justin Freiman, that

someone is very familiar with this route. You know it`s a lone male, although I was surprised with the D.C. shooter, there were two of them, but

it was an adult male with a teen male under his influence.

So I`m saying a lone male, probably a white male in his late 20s to early 40s, doing these shootings within this route. And what`s a problem,

Justin, as Tammy Rose and I were discussing earlier, they`re totally random, so it`s going to be harder to identify the shooter because there`s

no connection between the victims, Justin.

FREIMAN: That`s right, Nancy. And the police are taking it a step farther. They`re calling this domestic terrorism.

GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Jeff Gold and Andell Brown. First to you, Jeff Gold, Atlanta. When this guy is caught, there`s no way he`s going to

be able to argue this was not premeditated because you`ve got to go to your spot, your sniper spot. You`ve got wait until to the right moment, aim and

pull the trigger.

And a lot of these are taking place in the really early morning hours as people are just leaving for that early morning shift at work, 5:30, 5:45

AM, 3:30 in the morning, when overnight people are getting off of work and hitting the interstate to go home.

There`s no way they`re going to get around premeditation on this.

JEFF GOLD, DEFENSE ATTORNEY Well, you know, Nancy, except for the very early hours, it has the hallmark of something a juvenile would do. You

know, they typically drop rocks from these overpasses. These are kind of...

GRACE: These are -- put him up!

GOLD: ... willy-nilly shots...

GRACE: These are not rocks!

GOLD: ... you know, with a BB gun.

GRACE: Don`t...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Don`t minimize this, Jeff Gold.

GOLD: No, no, I understand that.

GRACE: These are guns!

GOLD: I`m not minimizing it. I`m telling you it sounds like a juvenile.

GRACE: ... a juvenile be dropping a rock, for Pete`s sake!

GOLD: It`s a BB gun. It`s an air-propelled BB gun. Sounds like a kid to me, Nancy. I`m just telling you what my experience tells me.

GRACE: You are equating this with a prank!

Andell Brown, this is no -- we`ve already got one girl shot in the head, all right? Are you there, Andell?

ANDELL BROWN, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Indeed -- I`m right here, Nancy. This is a very terrifying situation.

Another thing, an aspect that needs to be pointed out that the police have talked about is that there may be more than one weapon involved, which

leads us to the conclusion that we could be looking at a copycat situation, where because of the media attention this has been getting, other people

are taking the opportunity to copy what has been done here.

GRACE: You know what? That`s a good point.

Tammy Rose, Andell is right on that -- Tammy Rose, investigative reporter joining us from News 20 chopper. I`ve been wondering if the coverage on

this has not stirred the pot and instigated a copycat. But based on the locations of the shootings, I think it`s the same guy.

ROSE: Well, I mean, it`s been picking up steam in the media. There`s been a lot of coverage the last couple of days. We are now looking at 11

shootings in 12 days, and one person already hurt. A police officer, who was traveling in his own personal vehicle was struck, as well. So this is

definitely picking up some steam. But you know, it`s anybody`s (INAUDIBLE)

GRACE: Well, I`ve got another question. Candace Trunzo, Dailymail.com, do we know if police have actually recovered any of the bullets? I mean, they

had to because when you look at, for instance, that last shot we just showed, there`s not an exit. So that bullet is either in the car or

embedded somewhere in the vehicle. They`ve got to have the bullets.

[20:20:16]TRUNZO: Absolutely. I believe that they have bullets. They are just not talking about exactly what kind of caliber rifle or gun the

bullets came from. They`re being very, very close-mouthed about exactly what evidence they have, and they`re saying it`s to determine -- you know,

they want to get this guy or gal, and they`re are actually putting out a reward now, $20,000 for any information leading to the arrest, capture of

the sniper.

GRACE: Well, you know, Lisa Lockwood, former police detective and author, why aren`t police releasing the caliber?

LISA LOCKWOOD, FORMER POLICE DETECTIVE: You know, some investigations call for certain things to be held close to their chest. So I believe that they

may have some information regarding who this person may be, and they don`t want to go forward with that.

I would guarantee they`re looking at all of the gun ranges. They`re going to gun stores. They`re finding out which caliber has been sold recently

that matches up with what they have right now. And I believe they`re in the right position to not reveal all of those factors. It`s going to help

their investigation.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

[20:25:14]GRACE: Live, Colorado. He takes his wife on a romantic hiking trip. Tragedy. The wife, Toni, slips while taking a photo, plunging to

her death. The husband and their 9-year-old little girl in deep grief until authorities ask, Hey, didn`t your first wife die in a freak accident,

too?

Well, it turns out that wife number one crushed to death by the family car as he, the husband, takes her on a romantic drive, then asks her to look

under the car for a lugnut when they get a flat tire.

What a coincidence! Coincidence or double murder? And does the whole case hinge on the victim`s pink lipstick?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Pictures portray a happy couple, married more than a decade when a day of hiking took a tragic turn. Toni plunged face-first 40

to 50 feet over a cliff.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did you push your wife?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Henthorn had taken out $4.5 million in life insurance policies on his late wife.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Straight out to Ken Clark, talk show host, KNUS. Ken, thanks for being with us.

Everybody, this case has been under the microscope for some time, but it`s at a boiling point now. I want to talk about the most recent death of Toni

Henthorn. What happened, Ken Clark?

KEN CLARK, TALK SHOW HOST 710 KNUS (via telephone): Well, it appears that they were celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary. Oh, and Mary -- or

Nancy, it`s great to be on with you. Thank you.

But Nancy, they were on their 12th wedding anniversary, and they went up hiking through these what I would consider to be very treacherous trails.

And they were up on a 130-foot cliff where she just happened to fall off and she plunged to her death.

GRACE: They`d been married 12 years, so the 9-year-old daughter is her and his biological child, Ken?

CLARK: I believe so, yes.

GRACE: Joining me right now is a close friend of Toni Henthorn`s, Allison Talley. Allison, thanks for being with us.

Question about Toni. You two were very close. What do you make of her going on a hike in rugged terrain to celebrate their 12th anniversary? I

mean, I hate to be a stick in the mud, but what happened to dinner?

ALLISON TALLEY, FRIEND OF TONI HENTHORN (via telephone): Well, I don`t think that she would have gone on a hike like that. You know, I -- from

what I`m seeing and we`re learning now, that was a very advanced hiking route. She`s not -- that`s not something she would do. She had two bad

knees. I know that for a fact. We talked about it many times. It`s just not her thing and...

GRACE: Well, was she a hiker and did she like to hike? Did she plan hiking trips? Had she gone on hiking trips before?

TALLEY: She certainly loved the outdoors, but in taking a walk or something very controlled because she did have knee issues, was -- no, she

wouldn`t have gone on that. We many times have been together, we would go skiing, our two families would, and she would stay back just for safety

reasons. It was just not something that (INAUDIBLE)

GRACE: So she would not hit the slopes, even the bunny slopes. When you say she loved the outdoors, there`s a big difference between going out in

your back yard and watering the flowers and loving the outdoors and climbing up to the top of this peak we`re looking at. That`s a whole

`nother ball game. So I`m taking it she was the back yard love nature variety.

Allison Talley, what about the husband, Harold Henthorn? When she, Toni, married him, did she know the first wife died underneath his car getting a

lugnut?

TALLEY: Well, she didn`t know that part. She knew that she had died, but she certainly did not know the story that has surfaced. That is the true

story about how it happened. She would have never gone for that. You know, the story that she told was way more innocent, really a random

accident, but certainly not climbing under a car to retrieve a lugnut.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

[20:33:22] GRACE: Welcome back, everybody. This investigation has been under a microscope for a long time but now it`s boiling over. Not one but

two wives dead both from freak accidents.

With me, Ken Clark, KNUS, a very dear friend of the second wife, Allison Talley with us.

To Michael Christian, what are the similarities, Michael, between the death of Toni Henthorn and the first wife, Sandra Lynn?

MICHAEL CHRISTIAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Nancy, there are several. And it`s very interesting. Both women, for example, had life insurance

policies to which he was the beneficiary. Both deaths occurred in remote locations. Both marriages had lasted about 12 years. After both deaths,

Mr. Henthorn reportedly gave conflicting stories about what had happened. Following the deaths, he had both women cremated and this is really

interesting, both wives` ashes were spread from the same Colorado mountain.

GRACE: You`re seeing a shot right there of Toni Henthorn on the left and Sandra Lynn Henthorn on the right. And they were both married to this guy

about 12 years.

So, Ken Clark, KNUS, what did he do for a living or did he have a living?

KEN CLARK, TALK SHOW HOST, KNUS: Well, he had some odd jobs off and on and he did have some income back in 2000, 2010. Supposedly he had a job that

was the reason that they moved back to Colorado. But he really didn`t have a whole lot and he supposedly sold his second wife on the idea that he was

a wealthy entrepreneur when most of his money, it appears, came from the insurance policies that he had taken out on his first wife.

[20:35:00] GRACE: Uh-oh, Ken Clark, question, tell me exactly how Toni, the second wife, allegedly fell to her death. What`s his story?

CLARK: Well, there`s about three different stories. The first one was that they were both text messaging their child because they were at a --

she was at a soccer game and then he saw a blur and she supposedly fell. But she left her cell phone at home. She didn`t have her cell phone.

GRACE: That doesn`t work.

CLARK: The second story is that she was taking a picture and what`s interesting about that is that the camera supposedly landed intact after

she hit the ground, he then moved her body to the place where the camera that was intact landed as well. So that doesn`t quite make sense. And

then the third story is that he was in front of her. She was trailing him. He turned around and noticed she was gone.

GRACE: Just happened to notice that she disappeared. About the photo scenario, Ken Clark. Were there photos on her camera? Because I`m sure

you remember the Jody Arias trial we just covered where she accidentally took photos of the murder scene. And I`m wondering, if Toni had been

taking photos, certainly there would be some, leading up to her death, right? Were there photos on her camera?

CLARK: I`m sure there were photos on her camera. Evidently she was lining up and getting ready to take a picture as she slipped and fell. So that

last picture that we`re talking about really wasn`t about there but she did fall face first, which would indicate, if she was pushed, she was pushed

from behind.

GRACE: I`m just wondering if there are any photos of the trip at all on there, which would totally belie his story.

You`re seeing photos of happier times. Toni Henthorn, Harold Henthorn and their 9-year-old little girl, we`ve got her face blurred. So one of his

stories is she`s texting as she`s climbing up a rugged mountain pass but then ruh-roh, her cell phone is not with her. She didn`t bring it along.

That didn`t work.

All right. So you`re saying she got -- he got $4.5 million off the second wife.

With me is a close friend of Toni Henthorn, Allison Talley.

Allison, when she went into this marriage, did she know he was broke and whatever money he did get was from life insurance proceeds from the first

wife`s death?

ALLISON TALLEY, CLOSE FRIEND OF TONI HENTHORN: No, she did not know that. And he told a good story and he played a good game and he was very

convincing so nobody thought that.

GRACE: How do you know that? How do you know that he was very convincing?

TALLEY: He convinced me. He spoke well, dressed nice, he had done his homework. He knew exactly the right things to say to the right - to the

right people. But the thing that kind of probably told off on him was when he wanted to move back to Colorado so bad, people tend to want to leave

their environment if they can`t, you know, survive there with the story. So I kind of suspected when he moved -- when they wanted -- he was so

adamant that they move back to Colorado.

GRACE: Well, what did he tell your husband about what happened to his wife, what`s happened to Toni, the second wife?

TALLEY: What happened to Toni?

GRACE: Mm-hmm.

TALLEY: He told us that -- he was very vague. Very vague. That it was just an accident. And you know, I would ask specifically what happened.

You know, at this time, he knew that he was a suspect. He was a suspect within hours of when it happened. Very vague.

GRACE: You know what, that`s not right. That`s not right, Allison Talley.

Psychologist Dr. Tiffany Sanders is with me. You know, it`s funny that she would say that, Dr. Tiffany, because right before we came to air tonight, I

was talking to my EP, Liz, about the last time I saw my fiance before he was murdered and I can remember to this moment him driving away and he held

his arm out the window to wave good-bye over the side of the car. All right. I remember that like it was yesterday.

But here, Allison Talley is asking Henthorn what exactly happened and he says it`s an accident. That`s all he can say. It`s an accident. I don`t

believe that.

TIFFANY SANDERS, PSYCHOLOGIST: Right. Nancy, he was evasive. And really, if a husband had lost his first wife, why on earth would he place his

second wife in any danger? Because he`s uncaring, he lacks empathy and he is a maniacal maniac that wants to kill this woman. And he took advantage

of the situation, her life insurance policy, and he made it so purposeful that she could not defend herself in this unruly, terrible situation, and

he should be behind bars.

GRACE: You know what, I`m with you in my heart but in a court of law you`ve got to have hard evidence regardless of what you think happened,

you`ve got to prove it.

Dr. Michelle DuPre, forensic pathologist, Columbia, can you tell, is there any way to tell, Dr. DuPre, by looking at her body whether she fell or was

pushed?

[20:40:05] DR. MICHELLE DUPRE, M.D., MEDICAL EXAMINER AND FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST: Nancy, thanks for having me. This is an exceptionally

interesting case. It raises a lot of red flags. As I look at the autopsy report, the vast majority of injuries, the significant injuries, are all on

the right side of the body. There`s a few that are on the left but all of the lethal injuries are on the right side.

GRACE: What does that mean?

DUPRE: That raises a lot of --

GRACE: Doesn`t that just mean she fell on her right side?

DUPRE: Well, I understand that she didn`t just fall. She fell down about 50 or so feet. You`re not going to continue to fall on your right side.

You`re going to tumble.

GRACE: OK.

DUPRE: I would expect a little bit of different injuries.

GRACE: You know what, Dr. DuPre, that`s why you`re the MD and I`m just a JD. So what about this, Dr. DuPre? Her husband says that he tried CPR and

tried to save her life, mouth-to-mouth, but when she got to the morgue, A, the top of her head was sheared off and, B, her lipstick, her pink lipstick

was perfectly applied. There was no smearing, the lipstick was still on there. How can that be if you try mouth-to-mouth on somebody?

DUPRE: I don`t think that`s possible, Nancy. First of all, mouth-to- mouth, you`re going to cup your hand around that person`s mouth and the face and hold it steady and you`re going to breathe in that person`s mouth.

You`re going to get lipstick smeared. In addition, typically when we apply CPR, there are other injuries that are associated with this. I`m not that

worried that they don`t show up because hers are significant. But the lipstick, I don`t know how you do that.

GRACE: I don`t know how you do that either. That really jumped out at me.

Listen to this, ken Clark, tell Dr. DuPre about the ring, the $30,000 diamond?

CLARK: Well, that`s very interesting because it was actually Mister -- it was actually Mr. Henthorn who brought that up originally during the

interview. And he said that the diamond was missing. It was a $30,000 diamond. So it was a significant size. Was missing out of the ring but

oh, by the way, the value doesn`t matter.

Well, nobody had really noticed and nobody had brought up the missing jewelry until then but the damage on the left hand was not that severe. So

how would that diamond have been knocked out of that setting? And they believe that he took it out of the setting prior to the fall. So

something`s up with that.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

[20:46:40] GRACE: A Lakewood mom of six goes missing at a local farmer`s market. Her white van is found across from her flower stand, doors still

wide open.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Moua Vang was packing up the flower stand at the farmer`s market when she disappeared. 31-year-old mother of six had just

finished selling flowers at a farmer`s market outside city hall.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Charlie Land is joining us, news director from KLAY.

Charlie, thanks for being with us. So she grew these organic flowers in her own backyard, she sold them at multiple places around town there at

Lakewood and this was one of her regular flower stands. She sold flowers there regularly. Her own flowers. And it seems as if she`s packing up,

her van is wide open, doors still hanging open but no -- look, she`s gone.

CHARLIE LAND, NEWS DIRECTOR, KLAY RADIO: It`s very disturbing out here in the city of Lakewood. We border the city of Tacoma about 40 miles south of

Seattle here in the Pacific Northwest. And this farmer`s market is about as public as you can get right in front of city hall and the courthouses

and not a mall setting but an outdoor setting, a large conglomerate of strip malls in the area with thousands of people. And about a hundred

stands in that area, too.

And the mother of six kids and they usually have some of them there at the flower market. School had been in session. She was alone this time. She

was last heard of about 4:30. Some (INAUDIBLE) 6:00 close to her van and then they got a phone call around 8:30 about the van with the doors open,

looking like someone had gone through it, wallet, keys in the car, the money box open with no money in it, and there`s no sign. There is no video

coverage of this in that area around city hall, and they only have the one person that saw her by the van. Very disturbing indeed. It was in broad

daylight.

GRACE: Charlie Land, joining us, news director, KLAY. So, Charlie, she normally brought some of her children with her but school had just

commenced so she didn`t have them with her that day. Broad daylight. And this is like an open -- like a farmer`s market, really, open air?

LAND: Very open. I grew up in this area. I`ve been doing news in this area over the last three decades. I have not seen anything or heard of

anything quite like this before. It`s very disturbing that this could happen in such an open environment.

GRACE: Stacey Newman, with me in addition to Charlie Land. Stacey, I`m very distressed. Six children she`s living behind. She lived at home with

her husband and children. There`s no report of any marital discord whatsoever. What more do you know, Stace?

STACEY NEWMAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Well, we know that also at that van her keys were still in there, her cell phone and her wallet were left

behind, and what`s important to notice police say it looks like she was interrupted by something because she was actually tearing down her tent and

they showed up and there the doors wide open and she`s missing.

GRACE: Everyone, tip line, 253-830-5000. Look at Mousa Vang.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: As a single mother, providing for my children is a struggle. Diapers are super expensive. Making sure that my children have

everything and wanting to provide for them really does cause anxiety.

[20:50:16] UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Diapers are a very challenging expense. Diapers are not covered by food stamps. They`re not covered by other

social service programs. When I had my first child, I was just really amazed how hard it was to care for a newborn. It`s emotionally very

exhausting, it`s physically very exhausting. When things started to ease up, I wanted to help other moms. I started calling organizations and I

heard over and over again, we need diapers. I was heartbroken, because I started thinking about how difficult it would be to be that mom who didn`t

have the diaper.

We have donated nearly two million diapers to families in the D.C. area. We partner with organizations who are helping families. A lot of our

families are really at a breaking point. We`re using diapers as a way to have them engage with social services, for their other needs. Let them

know that there is a network there, that`s going to help them and support them.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s a diaper day.

Receiving diapers means that there`s one less thing I have to worry about.

We can really use these.

It allows me to put more money towards other things that are beneficial for my children.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Knowing that we`re able to help moms at a critical point in their life, and being able to bring them a little bit of relief is

huge. I want them to have everything they need to thrive.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

[20:55:42] GRACE: Live, L.A. a fake wedding scam rakes in at least $3 million that we know of, but what a deal. They arrange your fake marriage

complete with a fake honeymoon and a fake photo album.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: A California father and daughter have been arrested after an investigation that authorities say reveal they were setting up

false marriages to help Chinese nationals get U.S. green cards.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Fake marriages to the tune of $3 million that we know of. I don`t know why we`re blurring their faces because they know this is a fake

marriage when they`re taking these fake photos to put in their fake wedding album.

Michael Christian, what`s happening?

CHRISTIAN: Authorities believe that this father and daughter team did this at least 70 times over the last 10 years. As you say, they would set up

fake weddings, they would send couples on fake honeymoons where they didn`t stay in the same room. They would sometimes help them with phony apartment

leases or phony bank accounts so it would all look legit to the feds who were investigating.

GRACE: Well, you know, Michael Christian, I guess you and I call a honeymoon an entirely different thing. Because traipsing over to Vegas and

taking a couple of pictures at the Wynn Hotel and the casinos and standing outside of one of the productions, you know, one of the shows, that does

not a honeymoon make, Michael Christian.

Joining me right now, we`re going to call him Steve, who has had multiple wives, according to him, from different countries, and amazingly, at the

end of each marriage, they`ve either got a green card or full-on U.S. citizenship.

Steve, thank you for being with us.

STEVE, QUESTIONED BY INS ON THREE WIVES: Thank you, Nancy.

GRACE: Steve, let me just cut the chase here and ask you -- wow, that is some honeymoon. Check out the inside of the Wynn.

Steve, did you have to go and speak to INS about any of your many marriages?

STEVE: Oh, yes, on all three of them.

GRACE: OK. So you`re admitting to three. All right, I thought it was more than that, but let`s just pretend it really is just three. What kind

of -- this is what I really want to know. What kind of questions did the INS ask you to make sure your marriage was legit?

STEVE: One of the first questions is they want to know, where did we meet and how long have we known each other.

GRACE: You didn`t stumble, did you?

STEVE: Ma`am?

GRACE: Did you stumble? Did you remember where you met?

STEVE: Yes, it kind of just as a fog in my memory but I remember.

GRACE: OK, jogged your memory to be questioned by an INS official. Now you have told our staff earlier that they asked you what color is your

wife`s underwear, what do her pajamas look like, what color are your sheets, what color is her toothbrush. What is her favorite thing to eat.

What other questions did they ask?

STEVE: They wanted to know if I`ve met the parents, have I met them, have I gone over there to meet them, how long have I known them, you know, what

are their birthdays? Have we -- have they come over to visit us?

GRACE: And then they questioned the bride to see if your answers match up?

STEVE: Right. Sometimes they`ll separate you and they`ll separate you in different rooms and question her to see if the stories match up.

GRACE: OK. There you go. Fake wedding, fake photo album from the wedding, and the honeymoon.

Steve, thank you for being with us.

Let`s remember, American hero, Marine Sergeant Lea Mills, 21, Brooksville, Florida. Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal. Loved the

Mississippi Gulf Coast. Parents, Dolores and Rob, brother, Parker, widow, high school sweetheart, Keisha.

Lea Mills, American hero.

Thanks to our guests, but especially to you for being with us, inviting all of us into your home. Nancy Grace signing off. I`ll see you tomorrow

night, 8:00 sharp Eastern. And until then, good night, friend.
