BROOKE ANDERSON, HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Charlie`s angels? Charlie Sheen shows off the women he calls his goddesses, a porn star, a model living with Charlie and taking care of his children.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDREA CANNING, ABC CORRESPONDENT: Is this like a family for you?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Absolutely.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. We all love and care about each other.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - should Charlie be banned from seeing his kids?

Christina Aguilera arrested. Her boyfriend arrested. Is Christina melting down?

Lindsay unleashed. Lindsay Lohan`s very first interview since being charged with stealing a necklace.

And Charo versus Lady Gaga. Charo calls Gaga Madonna with diarrhea. Explain yourself, Charo. And she will, right here today in the headline- making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.

(MUSIC)

Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - stars gone wild. Now, I know you are thinking I am talking about Charlie Sheen, which I am.

And as you are about to see, Charlie got startling new company today in the stars gone wild club. The day began with a startling look at Charlie`s bizarre private world with the two women he calls his goddesses, including a porn star.

And we learned today - I can`t get over this - they are helping take care of two of his kids. Watch what he told "Good Morning America."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Who are your goddesses?

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: You`ve heard about the goddesses. They`re an international sensation. These are my girlfriends. These are women that I love that have completed the three parts of my heart.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: More on Charlie`s angels in a moment. But first let`s welcome Christina Aguilera as the newest member of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s stars gone wild club, because Christina was arrested early today for public intoxication, her boyfriend for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Joining me, right now, in New York, Jane Velez-Mitchell, who is the host of "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL" and author of the book, "Addict Nation." Also in New York, Bonnie Fuller, who is president and editor-in-chief of "HollywoodLife.com."

OK, ladies. Here`s what happened. The cops pulled over Christina Aguilera`s boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, because his driving was erratic. Christina was a passenger. She was in the car.

Take a look at this brand-new TMZ video of Rutler walking out of jail this morning. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there as the L.A. Sheriff`s Department revealed more about Christina and what happened.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: His passenger was Ms. Aguilera and she was - which is kind of a unique situation with this law. She was - let`s just say that she was not capable of taking care of herself. She was brought here and then when she was able to navigate and to think on her own and make her own way, she was released at about 7:30 this morning.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Whoo. The sheriff`s department said they brought her in because she was unable to take care of herself and it was for her safety. Jane, it does seem that Christina has been struggling, acting out for a while now. So does any of this surprise you?

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": "It doesn`t in the least, Brooke, because she`s had a very rough year - an album that flopped, a movie that didn`t do well, the infamous flubbing of the national anthem at the Super Bowl. She even tripped at the Grammys. And let`s not forget that messy divorce.

Now, she seems to be drowning her sorrows in the bottle. That`s what some people do. Bad decision. Invent yourself again. Get a new look and a new sound. But she may have to go to rehab first before she reinvents herself.

ANDERSON: Well, she had to be really sloshed to not be able - or cognizant enough to call a friend or call herself a cab, you know, versus going to the jail.

You know, Christina`s had a lot on her plate lately, as you mentioned, Jane. She is newly divorced. In fact, her arrest comes two weeks to the day since the details of that divorce were finalized.

There was that fiasco, as you mentioned, where she sang the wrong lyrics to the national anthem at the Super Bowl. Her much-hyped movie, "Burlesque," bombed.

Bonnie, do you think she`s spiraling out of control here? These are not the kinds of headlines Christina Aguilera wants to be making.

BONNIE FULLER, PRESIDENT AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM": She`s absolutely spiraling out of control. I think she`s finding it very difficult to deal with the lack of success that she`s had with her recent projects.

You know, I`m sure - entertainers, they often suffer from low self-esteem. And so for her to have - she had an album that also bombed. She had a summer concert tour that had to be cut short. Certain venues were not sold out.

I mean, that`s got to be a giant blow to her ego. And a lot of people are saying because her husband, Jordan Bratman, was involved with her career that she was blaming him for those failures and that that`s what led to the split.

ANDERSON: What a mess. We wish her well. Hopefully, she can pull it together. I`ve got to move now, though, to another member of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT stars gone wild club. And that is Charlie Sheen. Oh, we`ve got to include his angels, too. There they are.

Charlie`s wacky and perplexing media tour continued today. And we got our first up-close look at life with these women he calls his goddesses. Listen to this. Charlie is living and loving two - yes, two women in his house. The nanny and former model and a porn star.

Watch how the goddesses describe their relationship this morning on "Good Morning America."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Is this like a family for you, the two of you?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Absolutely.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. We all love and care about each other. So we all have our own connections with one another. Natty(ph) and Charlie have their own special connection. I have my own connection with Charlie. And then Natty(ph) and I also have our own relationship.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It works well for us. I mean, it`s unconventional and it seems crazy to everybody else, but for us, it works well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: You think? It sure does seem unconventional and crazy. It`s starting it look like a bad reality show, maybe a mixture of "Sister Wives" and Hugh Hefner`s "Girls Next Door."

Jane, it seems like the biggest load of bull I have ever heard, and they`re all being delusional here, calling themselves a family.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I think they sat down and watched too many episodes of "Big Love," and that`s a problem.

ANDERSON: Me, too.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: But I`ve got to say, look, in general I don`t comment or pass judgment on what people do behind closed doors. That`s their business. However, when you bring drugs into the mix and Charlie Sheen has admitted that, until recently, he was doing hard drugs and then you add kids - no, no. This is a bad combo.

And I really do doubt that they all love each other. They really all, I think, need some serious help, and it goes even beyond rehab. It goes into therapy. Why are these women involved in this situation? What are they getting out of it?

Are they lesser companions to Charlie Sheen, enabling him and being co- dependent on him, creating that bubble that the addict can live in where, basically, they surround themselves with yes-men or, in this case, yes- women? I think that`s what`s going on.

ANDERSON: I`m telling you my blood just boils watching his two - almost two-year-old twin boys sit there with him, who is clearly unstable and these two women.

You know, and that is really the disturbing twist to this bizarre story, because we saw in the new interviews that they are helping take care of his twin boys, whom he shares custody with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller.

TMZ is reporting Brooke is fighting to get those kids away from Charlie. This morning, we got to see what Charlie`s goddesses told "GMA" about the kids. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Do you think the two of you are good influences on those twin boys?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, absolutely. All can you do with children is love them, you know. And we love them and we`re not doing anything to be harmful to their routine or undermine anything else that`s going on. You know, we all have a lot of respect for each other.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: That brings us to our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Flashpoint. Should Charlie be banned from seeing his kids until he gets his life in order? Bonnie?

FULLER: Well, I don`t know about banned, but can I tell you at "HollywoodLife.com," we have found out that the Department of Family and Child Services in L.A. has got an open file on Charlie Sheen and that they plan to be visiting him very soon and that they`re very concerned.

Now, here`s what`s interesting. They weren`t so concerned, we hear from a source, about the porn stars. We heard that they think, you know, a porn star could potentially be a decent caregiver, which I can`t believe I`m hearing that but -

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, porn stars have kids. What are you going to do, take all the kids away from all the porn stars (INAUDIBLE).

ANDERSON: Yes. Let`s not - let`s not place judgment there. They very well could be babysitting his children in an effective way. I don`t know, but I just tell you that it is disturbing to watch what is happening with Charlie Sheen at his house.

And Charlie has taken to court over the course of the last 15 years several times on charges of domestic violence. But today, Charlie reveals for the very first time whether he has ever hit a woman.

Jane Velez-Mitchell, Bonnie Fuller, stay where you are. We`re going to have that in just a bit.

All right. Brand new outrage from Natalie Portman today. She`s furious about the Christian Dior designer who apparently made disgusting anti- Semitic remarks on camera.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN GALLIANO, CHRISTIAN DIOR DESIGNER: I love Hitler. People like you would be dead today.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Natalie`s explosive response to us about those horrific words, next.

Remarkable revelations today about Lady Gaga from a guy who has worked closely with her. What he thinks of the controversy surrounding her "Born This Way" video. It`s a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, next.

And Lindsay unleashed. Lindsay Lohan`s very first interview since being charged with stealing a necklace.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How do you feel?

LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: I feel great. I feel happy. There`s always things, you know, bumps that we have in the road.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views. And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Lindsay Lohan denies she`ll appear nude in a new photography book. Justin Bieber asks his fans to donate to charity in honor of his 17th birthday today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GALLIANO: I love Hitler People like you would be dead today. Your mothers, your forefathers would be (EXPLETIVE DELETED) gassed.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my god.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: A horrific apparent anti-Semitic rant from John Galliano, the creative director of Christian Dior. Make that ex-creative director. He just got fired.

And today, Oscar winner Natalie Portman, one of the faces of Dior is fired up about Galliano`s disgusting words.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Just in today, Natalie Portman outraged. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the tape of John Galliano, who was a big shot at the fashion house, Christian Dior, going off in a Paris cafe.

The startling video surfaced just before the Oscars and it seemed to rock Hollywood. Only a couple of stars wore Dior on the red carpet. Even Natalie Portman, the face of one of Dior`s perfume lines did not wear a Dior gown.

And today, Portman, who took home the best actress Oscar, spoke out for the very first time about this tape scandal. Here`s what she said, "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano`s comments that surfaced today."

"In light of this video and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least these terrible comments remind to us reflect and act upon combating these still existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."

The good news, Natalie live won`t need to associate with Galliano anymore. As I mentioned, Dior fired him.

All right. Lady Gaga is firing on all of her controversial pistons today with her new explicit and completely outrageous video for "Born This Way."

In the seven-minute video that was just released, Gaga explores the creation of a new race of people that accept everybody. And right now, we have somebody who has worked side by side with Lady Gaga herself.

Joining me right for a SHOWBIZ news maker interview, producer Rodney Jerkins. He co-wrote and produced Lady Gaga`s song, "Telephone." Rodney, thank you so much for being here.

RODNEY JERKINS, LADY GAGA`S PRODUCER: Thank you.

ANDERSON: It`s so nice to meet you. And you worked in the studio with Gaga on her hit song "Telephone."

JERKINS: Yes.

ANDERSON: So right now, I`ve got to get your take on her new video for "Born This Way." First let`s watch.

(MUSIC)

All right. Rodney, here`s some of the criticism online today of the video, that it makes no sense, that it`s too explicit, that it`s way too long, it`s seven minutes.

You`ve worked closely with her in the past. What do you think?

RODNEY JERKINS: I mean, Lady Gaga is very - she`s very creative.

ANDERSON: Oh, for sure.

JERKINS: When she`s in the studios actually writing the songs, all the visuals are coming to her. And I think this is - that`s the way she expresses herself. We should expect her to be out of box.

We should expect - seven minutes is kind of short, actually. The video for "Telephone" is about nine minutes.

ANDERSON: You`re right. You`re right. So when she`s putting pen to paper with those lyrics, she`s already envisioning what this video is going to be, what the story is going to be.

JERKINS: Absolutely. It all comes to her right there on the spot.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, a lot of people have said, even before the video came out, that "Born This Way," the song, was a rip-off of Madonna`s song, "Express Yourself." Do you see similarities?

JERKINS: There are similarities. I think as producers and songwriters and producers, we get inspired all the time by, you know, great hits. And she`s definitely inspired by Madonna.

ANDERSON: And she has said that she is inspired by Madonna. And Madonna, you know, was compared to other artists back in the day.

JERKINS: Absolutely. Absolutely.

ANDERSON: So you`re right. It is kind of a cyclical thing that happens in effect.

JERKINS: Yes.

ANDERSON: Well, you have worked with so many huge artists, Rodney, including Britney Spears, Beyonce, Michael Jackson. All right, and you just finished working with Britney Spears on her upcoming new album.

JERKINS: Yes.

ANDERSON: So what can you tell us about that album? What can you tell us that we have not heard before about what we can expect?

JERKINS: I`m really excited about - I did two songs on her album. And one of the songs I did, I brought in Travis Barker. And it`s got like this rock feel which is kind of out the box, out of my norm, and I think it`s out of her norm as well. And we had a great time making this record.

ANDERSON: Most it have a dance album, you know, classic Britney Spears?

JERKINS: Classic Britney Spears, up tempo and heavy of course.

ANDERSON: The rock, the Travis Barker - that edge is new and different for her.

JERKINS: Yes. New and different.

ANDERSON: I`m looking forward to it. All right. Well, just a short time ago, Rodney, we reported that Christina Aguilera making big news today, unfortunately, not the kind of news she wants to make.

She was arrested, public intoxication. Her boyfriend arrested on suspicion of DUI. She went into custody to sober up. She hasn`t had a good couple of weeks. You know, she had that flub of the national anthem at the Super Bowl. Things are tough for her right now. What would your advice be to Christina Aguilera?

JERKINS: I think she needs to get back to the studio. You know, I always talk to her team already, because I feel you need an outlet. You need to sometimes take the situations, put it all in paper and put it out.

ANDERSON: Use it as inspiration?

JERKINS: Absolutely. Absolutely. And make the album the fans want to hear. And I think she`s -

ANDERSON: She`s got the voice. She`s got the talent to do it.

JERKINS: She has to use the voice.

ANDERSON: Maybe with you, Rodney Jerkins.

JERKINS: Absolutely.

ANDERSON: Thanks so much. Good to see you.

JERKINS: thank you.

ANDERSON: All right. Startling new claims right now about Charlie Sheen. Charlie in his own words about allegedly hitting some of the women in his life.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PIERS MORGAN, HOST, "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT": There have been reports in the papers the last two or three years hinting of violence by you towards - one was towards your wife and one is towards a porn star in a hotel. Were they true?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Coming up, Charlie`s incredible answer and a dramatic SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Atty. Gloria Allred about these claims.

Oh, mom, why did you wear that? That`s reportedly what Madonna`s 14-year- old daughter, Lourdes, said to her about her butt-revealing Oscar outfit. Does Madonna need to take Lourdes` advice.

And Chris brown goes blond. Good move? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Katie Holmes is suing "Star" magazine for a whopping 50d million today. Mrs. Tom Cruise claims that the tabloid defamed her in a cover story which suggested she`s a drug addict, a claim Katie strongly denies.

In a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Katie says the claims are untrue, unethical and unlawful and of all the made up stories about her, this is, quote, "beyond the pale." "Star" magazine told us late today that it stands by its story.

And now, big news breaking in "The Buzz Today." A shocking admission from beloved "Family Ties" star, Meredith Baxter. Chris Brown goes blond - hit or miss? And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is on the set as the new "Dancing With The Stars" is revealed.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Charlie`s "hit" defense.

Charlie`s wild media madness tour went on today and he is making a startling new claim. Charlie Sheen denies he has ever hit a woman. Charlie is denying his hit his wife, despite pleading guilty to attacking her.

And he denies hitting that porn star who was there during his reported wild night at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Watch what Charlie told CNN`s Piers Morgan.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: You regret what happened on those two incidents?

SHEEN: No, those are two incidents where the scoreboard doesn`t lie and, you know, the Aspen thing was thrown out. Judges like this give this guy to my county. (INAUDIBLE) with him.

And then the police report in New York just didn`t reflect anything. And those are the guys that are going to report the facts or their jobs are on the line. So I just offer people those.

MORGAN: You have ever hit a woman?

SHEEN: I have not - no, no. Women are not to be hit. They`re to be hugged and caressed, you know.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Hugged and caressed? Charlie has a long history of being accused of domestic violence, including pleading guilty to assaulting his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller. Assault is not a hug. It`s not a caressed.

I`m infuriated and Atty. Gloria Allred is, too. Gloria joins me right now in Hollywood for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Gloria Charlie also said that he does regret one past incident with one of your clients, Brittany Ashland. He referred to her as B.A. But he said that he never hit her, that he just tried to contain when she came at him with a fork. Do you buy what he`s saying?

GLORIA ALLRED, CELEBRITY ATTORNEY: This is revolting and despicable, Brooke, on the part of Charlie Sheen. And the truth is that he knows. If he looks in the mirror, he knows that he was convicted of battery with serious injury of my client, Brittany Ashland.

And in fact, he was sentenced. He was sentenced to one year in jail, suspended, then probation and he had to pay a fine and do community service. So he is the one who entered a plea and he is the one who was convicted of battery with a serious injury of his girlfriend, and as you pointed out, Brooke, of assaulting his wife and the mother of his little children, Brooke Mueller.

ANDERSON: Pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault of Brooke Mueller. I could not believe it when this was the answer to his question about, "Have you ever hit a woman? Have you have ever attacked a woman?"

You know, and women claiming that they were frightened of Charlie Sheen. Here`s another bizarre twist. They keep - women keep flocking to him. Why, Gloria? And how dangerous is this for these women because to me Charlie seems like he is on the brink of doing something really bad, maybe not to himself. Maybe to other people. Who knows?

But it seems like he is on the brink. And one of the mothers of one of these women living with him right now just told "People" magazine she is afraid for her daughter. Why do women flock to Charlie Sheen?

ALLRED: Well, I can`t speak to the women who are in his life now. But I can say, in general, where there are celebrities, often, women are attracted to fame, to power, to privilege, to money, to the charisma of a star, who often preys on them and then just baits them and reels them in, because he knows that they`re vulnerable to either his charms or his money or fame or all of the above.

But I have, for years, Brooke, been warning that I believe there is a potential risk of harm for the women who are around Charlie Sheen.

ANDERSON: Yes.

ALLRED: And I have been very concerned about that. But now, what concerns me is he`s trying to blame the victim, Brittany Ashland. He`s trying to persuade the public that he, in fact, is the victim when, in fact, he has victimized her.

ANDERSON: Yes. He said she was coming at him with a fork and he was just trying to contain her.

ALLRED: No, she was never prosecuted. He was, and he`s the one who was convicted.

ANDERSON: It`s black and white, exactly. Well, in another disturbing turn of events, Charlie tells Andrea Canning on "Good Morning America" today that the two women who are actually living with him actually help care for his two children with Brooke Mueller. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Charlie, do you see these women as mother figures to your children?

SHEEN: Absolutely. Sure, yes. And I demand respect because it`s a lot to ask. But I didn`t have to ask. They just (INAUDIBLE). We all live in the same house, sure.

CANNING: Are they like a second and third mother? .

SHEEN: Of course, yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Gloria, we`ve got to end it there. But if I were the mother of those children, I would be doing everything I could to get them out of that house and back with me. Gloria Allred -

ALLRED: The question is, what is she going to do, if anything?

ANDERSON: Good to see you. Thank you.

ALLRED: Thank you, Brooke.

ANDERSON: Well, just as Charlie Sheen seems to be spiraling out of control in front of the whole world, Lindsay Lohan is insisting today her out-of- control days are over.

There`s a remarkable new interview with Lindsay today as she breaks her silence for the first time since getting out of rehab and then being charged with stealing a necklace from a jewelry store.

Our good friends at "Extra" nailed the exclusive interview. Watch what Lindsay said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JERRY PENACOLI, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Where are you right now? How are you feeling?

LOHAN: I feel great. I feel happy. There`s always things - you know, bumps that we have in the road. And as long as I`m focusing on the one thing that I need to put first in my life, which is, you know, my recovery and stuff, then I`m doing good and that`s most important for me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: And right now in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview - with me right now is "Extra" correspondent, Jerry Penacoli, who broke big news with that interview. Jerry is here for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Jerry, congratulations on the big get. And I`ve got to say that Lindsay - Lindsay looked good and she sounds like she`s pulling her act together. You were there in Lindsay`s home with her. Do you believe that she finally gets it?

PENACOLI: You know, I do, Brooke. And I tell you what struck me most about sitting across from Lindsay is, first of all, how great she looks, and, secondly, how honest she`s being about, A, putting her recovery first; B, trying - and I emphasize that word - trying to put her tabloid past behind her and; and C really, really getting serious about her career.

She is, I think, really trying to rebuild her future by trying to focus more clearly on what her goals are and getting rid of some of the - you know, the stuff in the past.

ANDERSON: Yes. From what she said to you, she is taking her recovery very, very seriously. and I have to say she made a remarkable revelation to you. We all know that basically nobody wants to hire her to do a film because she`s uninsurable.

Moviemakers just can`t get insurance on her right now because of all of her problems. And when you asked her in your "Extra" exclusive about whom she wants to work with on another film, she said that she realizes she is uninsurable right now. Let`s watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LOHAN: I think that that`s something that I will be able to say when I`ve proved - taken the steps that I need to take to prove that I can be insurable again, because I think that will come in time, where I`ll be in a position to even say that. Because I don`t think I am right now.

I don`t think that would be fair to just say, "Oh, this is who I want to work with," and then expect that to happen. No, I have to build my way back up and I get that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wow. I`ve got to say I`m shocked, Jerry, that she would suggest she`s not a safe hire, because I know the girl probably needs work right now. Jerry, did she seem disturbed by that self-discovery? Because she didn`t look fazed at all in that clip. What did she tell you?

PENACOLI: No. She`s actually very resigned to the fact that she has many, many steps and kept using phraseology like "one step at a time." You know, of course she spent 73 days at the Betty Ford Clinic. So she spent almost all of her three-month court-mandated rehabilitation there.

ANDERSON: Right.

PENACOLI: And you know, she`s using words like, you know, "recovery," "one day at a time," "step by step." So she`s putting all of this first and she knows that she has got a lot to prove to these people in Hollywood -

ANDERSON: Yes.

PENACOLI: That used to trust her and would have hired her in the past.

ANDERSON: Good for her.

PENACOLI: Yes. Good for her is right - hopefully. Hopefully, it`s a start.

ANDERSON: She seems rational. Yes. Hopefully, it is. Jerry Penacoli, great job. Thank you so much. Good to see you.

PENACOLI: Thank you.

ANDERSON: Madonna`s shocking fashion face-off with her 14-year-old daughter. Madonna`s cringe-worthy, butt-baring outfit is reportedly getting slammed today by her own daughter. Should Madge just cool it with the revealing clothes?

Oscar hosts at war? The reports today that Anne Hathaway and James Franco were at war behind the scenes during the Oscars. Plus, James Franco`s big Oscar party snub.

Charo versus Lady Gaga. Charo called Gaga "Madonna with diarrhea." What is that all about? Charo explains herself here in the headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

CHARO, LEGENDARY ENTERTAINER: Every time I need money, I just go "cuchi- cuchi" and it worked. I figured out. (EXPLETIVE DELETED), this is good business. Cuchi-cuchi showed me the way to the bank.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: That`s entertainment legend, Charo finally revealing how she rode her catchphrase, "cuchi-cuchi" all the way to the bank. Charo is starring in the second season of the comedy series, "Latino 101" on CTV.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

And Charo is making big news today and not just for her fabulous show, "Latino 101." Everybody is talking about the explosive remarks that she just made about Lady Gaga.

Charo is here with me in Hollywood with a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Thank you so much for being here.

CHARO: Thank you for inviting me. How are you and the baby?

ANDERSON: We are well. Thank you for asking about my daughter. That`s so sweet.

CHARO: You lost your weight like this - one, two, three.

ANDERSON: Well, thank you. It was hard work. You look saucy and striking and red. And I think it`s fair - let`s get back to Lady Gaga.

I think it fair to say you`re not really a fan right now. Let`s take a look at what you just said on Sirius XM radio. Charo, here are your words, "I can tell you, to me, Lady Gaga is Madonna with diarrhea. I don`t like it when somebody copies somebody." Charo, what in the world did you mean by that?

CHARO: Well, let me tell you, Brooke. I`m so happy that my English is doing so good, because after so many years in this country talking and everybody would look at me like what is that talking about, but now they understood.

ANDERSON: So it was not a misquote. You did say that?

CHARO: No, I am a comedienne. I love comedy. I love to make people laugh. And I thought that it was an irresistible line, but have I nothing against Lady Gaga. Please don`t misconstrue me.

This is all over - when I really have fun is when I see people laughing and reacting like that, because I was able to make others smile to everybody.

ANDERSON: Well, we were laughing -

CHARO: The problem that (INAUDIBLE).

ANDERSON: And you know, it really has sparked this huge debate online. On "E! Online," a lot of people were, you know, commenting about it. People were writing about it, tweeting about it. It was exploding.

Take a look at what one person said on "E! Online," "Wow, Gaga is totally different than Madonna. Madonna`s years are over. It`s Lady Gaga`s decade now." What do you think?

CHARO: Oh, everybody is free of opinion. Actually, I don`t give a damn. Actually, it was an expression that came out of me to make people laugh. You should know that I - if I have two choices, if I can make people laugh or people cry, I go for the comedy. But I don`t give a damn.

ANDERSON: You don`t give a damn?

CHARO: No.

ANDERSON: All right. That`s your approach.

CHARO: Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and that`s all.

ANDERSON: All right. While, you know, you`re saying Lady Gaga`s imitating Madonna, there`s big news about Madonna, Charo - about Madonna just being Madonna, really.

There`s a great debate going on about the really skimpy outfit - look at it - that she wore on the red carpet Sunday night at a post-Oscars party. There are reports today that Madonna`s 14-year-old daughter, Lourdes, was so embarrassed by the outfit that her 52-year-old mother wore.

Charo, what do you think? Anything wrong with Madonna dressing like that?

CHARO: No, no, no. I think that she`s proud of her daughter. The daughter grew up to be a beautiful teenager.

ANDERSON: She`s gorgeous.

CHARO: She`s gorgeous and she`s trying to let the daughter express herself and her dreams.

ANDERSON: Do you think Lourdes` mother should dress in a skimpy - especially when they`re out together? It can embarrass your child.

CHARO: I don`t think so. You know what? I believe - look at me. Look at me today.

ANDERSON: You are one sexy mama.

CHARO: And my son is already over 20 - exactly 25. And when I go out, he go with me, I try to look the cutest because I want people to look at me.

ANDERSON: And how does he feel? Proud?

CHARO: He`s cool.

ANDERSON: Cool?

CHARO: He`s very cool.

ANDERSON: Not embarrassed?

CHARO: He`s proud me because he knows that I mean good and I am a very serious mother, very conservative. And I have to have fun all the time. He`s very proud of me.

ANDERSON: You`re full of personality. All right. Well, you know, I want to see if you`ll make some news with us here today.

CHARO: Yes. Oh, definitely.

ANDERSON: OK. "Dancing With The Stars" just announced its celebrity dancers for the show`s next season. Take a look. The cast includes stars like Kirstie Alley, talk show host Wendy Williams, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, NFL star Hines Ward.

Charo, let`s break a little news here. If ABC ever invited you to be on "Dancing With The Stars," would you do it? I think you would be great.

CHARO: God forbid not.

ANDERSON: Why?

CHARO: "Dancing With The Stars" is a good show bringing to people the glamour, the different dance that they didn`t know in the United States, but I don`t like Bruno. His English sucks.

And if I am dancing and he said that I`m not good and I`m trained in flamenco and salsa, I swear to you that the ship (INAUDIBLE).

ANDERSON: Ship with a P.

CHARO: Yes, whatever. I`m talking English. If he starts telling me that flamenco is no good, flamenco is no good, I`m going to give him (INAUDIBLE).

ANDERSON: So it`s all about Bruno? All right -

CHARO: All about Bruno.

ANDERSON: Well, maybe we can convince Bruno to go a little easy on you. I`d love to see you on "Dancing with the Stars."

CHARO: I`m going to challenge Bruno.

ANDERSON: All right -

CHARO: If he ever said to me that I`m no good, he will (INAUDIBLE).

ANDERSON: Throwing down the challenge right here. Charo, good for you.

CHARO: Yes. Bruno, marry me.

ANDERSON: And you can see Charo on the second season of the comedy series "Latino 101" on CTV.

CHARO: Thank you, Brooke.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Hey, if you`re looking to make a bet with a buddy that you`re sure to win, try this one. Bet someone that James Franco and Ann Hathaway will not be back together again as hosts of the Oscars.

Not only did critics brutally slam the job that they did, there are explosive new reports today that Anne and James absolutely hated each other by the end of the show.

Listen to this - "U.S. Weekly" reports that Anne was ticked because she was on her A-game at the Oscars but that James was phoning it in, not giving it all.

Let`s bring in Bonnie Fuller who is the president and editor-in-chief of "HollywoodLife.com."

Bonnie, Anne`s rep told us today, no way, there`s no truth to that report at all. And I believe it. They seemed to get along just fine. But a lot of people think where there`s smoke, there`s fire. Where do you land?

FULLER: Well, where I land is that the pair of them had zero chemistry. And I wouldn`t be surprised if she did, in fact, did feel that way because, I mean, it really looked like she was out there, giving it her all, trying her hardest, you know, giving it the old college try.

And he looked completely disinterested. In fact, didn`t he disappear about halfway through the show?

ANDERSON: He did. I did think he could have been a little more gung-ho with his performance. But you know, also not helping things out today is the news that James Franco bailed on all of the parties after the Oscars, including one that he was supposed to host.

James - he`s a busy guy. He said he needed to get back to class at Yale. He tweeted this picture of himself after the awards, drinking a Bloody Mary with the caption "Good-Bye L.A."

Hosting the Oscars happens perhaps once in a life time. You know, you can always make - well, I don`t know. I don`t know if you can always make up a class, but Bonnie, could the whole thing backfire on him?

FULLER: I do think that it will back fire on him, because not only did he look like he was phoning it in - I mean, I thought. But the fact that he invited guests, they were fairly high profile - I mean, really high profile guests who turned up at that party that he wasn`t there for and he was hosting it on behalf of people.

But yes, of course he could have missed a class. Come on, what kind of excuse is that? I think he was too embarrassed to go to his own party.

ANDERSON: Well, listen to what our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fans think. We asked them - "James Franco and Anne Hathway Host the Oscars: How do you think they did?" Forty percent say they were great, but 60 percent say they bombed. Bonnie Fuller, good to see you. Thanks.

FULLER: Thank you.

ANDERSON: And that is a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.

And don`t forget we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week. That`s at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. Take care.
