A.J. HAMMER, HLN HOST: We`ve got big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

The brand new Kardashian virginity shocker over Khloe`s revelation she lost her virginity when she was 14 years old. So could Khloe be facing big legal trouble over her starting confession?

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN ANCHOR: Kate says, "Leave my kids alone." Kate Gosselin`s dramatic new revelations today about those reports her kids were kicked out of school.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Two of the sextuplets, Colin and Alexis, reports are that they were expelled from their school. True or false?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the disturbing question, should we be worried about Kate`s kids?

HAMMER: Michael`s war on cancer. Michael Douglas`s incredible and emotional new revelations today about his battle with throat cancer. 0 ANDERSON: Lindsay goes dancing? Explosive reports today that "Dancing with the Stars" would love, love, love to get Lindsay Lohan on the show. The "Showbiz Flashpoint" today, should Lindsay do it?

HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show --

ANDERSON: Starts right now.

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi there everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today. Michael`s brave battle.

HAMMER: Yes Brooke. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that astounding new information was revealed today about Michael Douglas`s remarkable battle to beat throat cancer and it has some people actually cautiously using the word "miracle". Douglas is opening up for the very first time about the battle he`s just gone through, the agonizing treatment and what he`s facing next.

And while nobody is declaring victory just yet, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that for the very first time it seems that the beloved Hollywood legend is finally, finally seeing some light at the end of what appeared to be a very dark and ominous tunnel.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Michael Douglas has finally finished two months of grueling cancer treatment and now he`s finally sharing the real story about his health.

SHARON COTLIAR, ASSISTANT EDITOR, PEOPLE MAGAZINE: Michael is definitely regaining his strength.

HAMMER: In an advance copy of the new "People" magazine that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just obtained today, Douglas says, quote, "I feel stronger every day but it`s a long road back."

COTLIAR: I saw him. And he is walking and talking very much like Michael Douglas, but not with quite the energy he once had.

HAMMER: "People" magazine`s Sharon Cotliar tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones are determined to enjoy their family now that his treatment is over. They took the two kids, ten-year- old Dylan and seven-year-old Carys to Orlando this Thanksgiving weekend. Douglas tells "People" quote, "Dylan and Carys have been so amazing throughout all of this, Catherine and I wanted to thank them the best way we could."

COTLIAR: Michael and Catherine were taking in the rides with the kids. In fact, Michael was even on a roller coaster and the kids really had a great time.

One of the things they did was try out the butter beer at Universal and have a foam mustaches and apparently Michael had the best foam mustache.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS, ACTOR: I got cancer.

HAMMER: Douglas was only a week into radiation and chemotherapy this past August when he stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" and revealed to the world that he had stage four throat cancer. He made it clear he`s expecting a good result.

DOUGLAS: The percentages are -- are very good. I would hate to say, but right now, it looks like it should be about 80 percent.

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, "THE LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": Yes.

DOUGLAS: And with certain hospitals and everything, it does improve.

HAMMER: But the hard times were yet to come. The new issue of "People" magazine that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today reveals things got really tough for Douglas after he finished his cancer treatment in early October.

COTLIAR: Friends say the first four weeks after the treatment was over were really the hardest, that they were just pure hell for him. He was at his lowest in terms of energy and really fighting fatigue. He was really on a liquid diet for much of it, because he had difficulty swallowing. Michael lost probably more than 20 pounds.

HAMMER: Now Douglas is getting stronger and he tells "People," quote, "We are very happy and thankful with the way things are going."

COTLIAR: Michael is not ready to hit the gym yet, but he is feeling well enough to do a little bit of yoga and he is feeling well enough to start to eat solid foods again.

HAMMER: But "People`s" Sharon Cotliar tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT no one is declaring victory just yet.

COTLIAR: Michael is very mindful of the fact that he doesn`t have a prognosis yet. That won`t happen until January. So, he`s just working on gaining his strength, getting his health back and then in January, he`ll go back to his doctors and find out if they got it all.

HAMMER: But if there`s a bright side to Douglas` cancer ordeal, it`s apparently brought Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones closer together. After Douglas`s treatment they celebrated their ten-year anniversary last month.

COTLIAR: Their friends say their marriage is rock solid and that they are really a tight unit and determined to fight this together.

HAMMER: And Douglas is planning to return to his other passion, making movies. His first post-treatment role will be a biography. And you may be shocked to find out who Douglas will be playing.

COTLIAR: Michael is going to be playing Liberace. And apparently after the holidays, he`s going to take piano lessons and voice lessons.

HAMMER: So with the tabloids on a gruesome Michael Douglas death watch, it looks like this movie icon is determined to go on with his legendary Hollywood life.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Really, it`s so good to see Michael Douglas out and about again and looking stronger. The new issue of "People" magazine on Michael Douglas` cancer fight hits newsstands on Friday.

ANDERSON: Ok we`ve got to get to more big news breaking today. A Kardashian virgin crisis? Here is the question. Could Khloe Kardashian actually get in legal hot water for revealing that she lost her virginity when she was just 14?

HAMMER: Yes Brooke, I think this whole thing is ridiculous. If Khloe names her then 18-year-old boyfriend and he disagrees with how she describes their encounter, there are some legal experts who do say that he could actually sue for defamation.

ANDERSON: Well, this whole legal drama, A.J., started on Monday when Khloe made what I think was a very brave admission about why she lost her virginity so young. Watch what she said on "The View".

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Khloe, you said that you lost your virginity at 14.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN, ACTRESS: Uh-huh.

SHEPHERD: With an older man.

KARDASHIAN: Yes.

SHEPHERD: Now, that`s a pretty personal story to share.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": How old was he?

KARDASHIAN: He was only I think 18 but 14 to 18 now looking back, I think that`s not a --

BEHAR: It`s not cool.

KARDASHIAN: Not a normal thing. I think little girls or teenagers my sisters need to know don`t let anybody pressure you. It`s not worth it and how I felt about myself afterwards.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You know if Khloe`s ex-boyfriend decides to come forward and sue, I think he is just asking for a whole extra large heaping of all kinds of scrutiny. but as that outrageous as it all sounds, could this guy actually sue? Sunny Hostin, fearless legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network TruTV what do you think?

SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION" ON TRUTV: You know I -- I don`t think he will sue, can he sue. Anyone can sue for anything at any time as long as it`s not frivolous. But to prove defamation, he would really have to prove that it didn`t happen, it wasn`t true. And so is he really going to do that? Is he going to bring her into court and have this whole thing blown up? I don`t think so.

Some legal experts are talking about, you know, a statutory rape prosecution. I don`t think that`s going to happen. This happened a long time ago. It`s pretty remote.

Will she want to testify against him? I don`t think so. And so, you know, those legal experts that are saying that this is going to result in a legal showdown between Khloe and her then 18-year-old boyfriend, I`m going to disagree with them. I -- I just don`t thing that`s going to happen.

But I do believe that it`s a wonderful message that she is putting forward. She`s saying, listen, young girls, don`t be pressured. Don`t do something that you don`t need to do. You don`t have to have sex at 14 to be cool, to be in.

ANDERSON: Right.

HOSTIN: And I think that`s -- that`s the really important thing.

ANDERSON: It is a great message and it was very courageous of her, I think Sunny, to bring that up. And you say it`s highly unlikely that this lawsuit could happen but -- but legal experts are saying -- oh it is a possibility.

I want to bring in the fabulous investigative journalist Pat Lalama. What do you think about that possibility? Because I think any guy in this sort of situation would have to be out of his mind to go up against the Kardashians and their powerhouse team of lawyers.

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: But there`s always that person who wants their 15 minutes of fame. I mean, I agree with Sunny, as much as I love a debate, Sunny, but I think on this one, I -- I don`t see it happening. He would open up such a can of worms. Let`s also remember the -- the option of him being prosecuted. Who wants that?

She didn`t say it with any vengefulness; she`s not looking for retaliation. She`s selling a book and she`s smart not to name his name and that`s going to be the end of that.

ANDERSON: And just leave it at that. Well, A.J., the ladies of "The View" were certainly riled up about the latest developments today weren`t they?

HAMMER: Yes, Sherri Shepherd in fact has had enough, Brooke. Watch what she said.

ANDERSON: Yes.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": What bothers me is now she`s -- she`s over here, she`s got a platform for young girls. She`s trying to say, don`t do what I did. And this is what she meant it to be.

Now we`re all into the legalities of it. It makes it so that nobody will be able to share an experience to help some people because we`re about the legalities.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, that`s where my head is at. Sunny Hostin --

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: -- I think Sherri makes a terrific point. Because if this guy does sue obviously Khloe`s whole brave message just gets lost in the whole legal drama.

HOSTIN: Absolutely. It`s a wonderful point. I mean, why sue? This is a wonderful thing that she`s doing. It`s an embarrassing admission to make, quite frankly. But I think it`s an admission that`s going to help a lot of young girls, because they do look up to these Kardashian sisters and the fact that she was able to do that is just a big, big thing.

I agree with Sherri 100 percent and I would -- and especially since he wasn`t named in the book. I would imagine that it would be a --

ANDERSON: Right.

HOSTIN: -- very foolish person to do something like that.

ANDERSON: And I`m with you, Sunny. It is very important that Khloe get that message out to all of her fans that she was trying to get out there. And you know, whether -- whether you like the Kardashians or not, you cannot deny the fact that they are extremely popular. They have countless fans.

But here is another unexpected twist in the Kardashian story. You`ve got to check out the results for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. When we asked this, the Kardashian sisters, do you get their popularity?

A mere six percent said yes. They are the hottest thing out there. An incredible 94 percent said no way, they are famous for nothing. Pat, very quickly. The people have spoken. What do you think?

LALAMA: Somebody is lying. Somebody is lying, they`re too darn popular. I mean, here -- here is the thing. Unfortunately, we don`t make TV shows out of cancer researchers or the best teacher on earth. We make them out of people because of celebrity. Now that`s all it takes, is just being hot and being glamorous.

And for some reason, they have exploded. I will say this. I think they contribute more than a lot of other people we have been obsessed about, like Paris Hilton.

(CROSSTALK)

ANDERSON: True. Very true.

LALAMA: I`ve heard these young women talk. They`re smart girls. They do have a work ethic.

(CROSSTALK)

ANDERSON: And their fame, their celebrity and their empire just keeps on growing.

Pat Lalama, Sunny Hostin, thank you both.

All right, I`ve got to move now to a big brand new Kate Gosselin controversy today. Kate says leave my kids alone; her dramatic new revelations about those reports that her kids were kicked out of school.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Two of the sextuplets, Colin and Alexis, reports are that they were excelled from their school. True or false?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So we got to ask this disturbing question today, should we be worried about Kate`s kids and will Kate take them off TV?

HAMMER: Jake Gyllenhaal to Taylor Swift, I`m going to reveal the brand new pictures today that pretty much prove they are a couple. So what should we call these two? Do you remember Brangelina, Benifer? How about Gyllenswift, I like that. The big decision is coming up.

ANDERSON: And Lindsay goes dancing; explosive reports today that "Dancing with the Stars," would love to get Lindsay Lohan on the show. So should she do it?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Time now for the "Showbiz News Ticker" more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And now Lady Gaga`s powerful new "don`t ask, don`t tell" message; Gaga has really been pushing to end the military`s "don`t ask, don`t tell" policy, which of course bans openly gay Americans from serving in the Armed Forces. Well, take a look at her just revealed brand new emotional video.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LADY GAGA, SINGER/ACTIVIST: Kids are being led to believe that it`s ok to hate and condemn based on our differences and there`s recent horrific news of gay suicides is really proof of our social repression and ultimately government repression that is killing our youth.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Gaga, I am absolutely with you on this. And by the way, a study just released by the Pentagon does show that allowing openly gay troops in the military would have little impact.

Ok, just in today, other big Lady Gaga news. Brooke, she`s playing dead.

ANDERSON: Yes, she is, A.J. Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, they`re all playing dead today. The stars agree to kill their Facebook and Twitter accounts in honor of World Aids Day. And they are all saying that they will not come back online until fans help raise a million dollars.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, SINGER: Justin Timberlake is officially dead.

USHER RAYMOND, SINGER: Consider this a eulogy from Usher Raymond IV.

ANDERSON: And the words are morbid and the pictures even more haunting and ironically, it`s all in an effort to help save lives. Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, a long list of the world`s top celebrities are killing themselves digitally to raise a million dollars to fight aids.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That means no more Twitter.

KIM KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR: No more tweets from me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No more beats. No more music.

USHER: No more Facebook.

JEFF TURNER, PRESIDENT, ZEEK.COM: The idea of having these stars die online I -- I think is actually -- is actually very well done.

ANDERSON: Jeff Turner is the President of Zeek.com, an interactive media company.

TURNER: The vast majority of the people who are actually going to get out their wallet and donate are going to be moved by this story and can be moved by the cause.

ANDERSON: The cause is "Keep a Child Alive". A non-profit organization founded by Lee Blake and Alicia Keys to fight AIDS in Africa and India.

ALICIA KEYS, SINGER: It provides the medicine known as ARVs to children and families to keep them alive.

ANDERSON: Turner says there is little doubt the campaign will work, if not for the sheer volume of fans and followers involved, which he places near 100 million.

TURNER: I`m not sure how many times you can pull a stunt like this and have it be believable, but the mass of this one and the people that Alicia Keys has brought together is -- is pretty impressive.

ANDERSON: Facebook had this to say about the initiative.

"The Buy Life campaign is using technology and social services in a unique way to raise awareness for World AIDS Day and we look forward to continuing the conversation on Facebook following their `sacrifice`."

The sacrifice begins on World aids Day and lasts until fans and followers donate $1 million by texting 90999 or logging on to BuyLife.org.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: And this is what Twitter tells us about the stars` digital deaths. "The awesome thing about Twitter is that it can be a force for good, even when it`s not being used. In all seriousness, it`s great that attention is being brought to the issue and Twitter really supports the cause."

HAMMER: Let us hope they raise a ton of money.

ANDERSON: Yes.

HAMMER: As we move on today, I still think the whole concept of E`s new show "Bridal Plasty" is just outrageous. You have brides-to-be competing for plastic surgery and a lot of people on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page are outraged by this show.

Let me get to one of them from Cheri L. who`s posting this, "Trust me, gravity will win. It`s just a matter of time."

ANDERSON: A.J., the Showbiz on-call phone lines have been going really crazy about this, too. Just about everybody is coming out swinging against the show. Listen what Mark, calling from Georgia, had to say about it.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

MARK, GEORGIA: "The program `Bridal Plasty` is televised butchery, plain and simple. If the men that they are going to marry are satisfied with the way they look, why should they subject themselves to unnecessary physical torture in order to make themselves look better in their own eyes? There is nothing wrong with the way they look, why push it?"

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thank you, Mark. Call us at Showbiz on-call. Let us know how you feel about this or anything else that you are thinking about.

The Showbiz on call phone lines are open 24/7. Here is the number. 1-888-SBT-BUZZ. 1-888-728-2899; mark it down. Leave a voice mail and we`ll play some of your calls on right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Christina Aguilera is speaking out today about her divorce. For the very first time today, Christina is opening up all about why her marriage ended and who she`s dating now.

ANDERSON: Very scary news for Uma Thurman today. The guy who is convicted of stalking her has just been arrested again.

HAMMER: Gyllenswift, Jaylor. Oh whatever you want to call them today I`ve got the cold hard proof coming up that these two are a couple even though they won`t admit it.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "Showbiz News Ticker"; more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: So does Halle Berry want more kids? Well, we asked her. And you have got to hear her very candid and very funny response. We caught up with the lovely 44-year-old Halle Berry in Hollywood. She was at the premier of her new movie "Frankie and Alice." Halle has a 2-year-old daughter with her ex, Gabriel Aubry. I want you to hear what Halle told us about being a mom and if she plans to have any more kids.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HALLE BERRY, ACTRESS: Every mom in the world will tell you it`s life changing, you know. It`s profound; it`s given me a greater purpose. I`m like every other mom in the world I think. She`s the love of my life.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And would there be another one on the way, would you like another one?

BERRY: If God says so. I think my eggs are on like walking sticks. So, probably not.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh come on, Halle. Eggs on walking sticks. You know, older women are having kids every day. So you never know.

ANDERSON: Ok. Now SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and "More" magazine are teaming up today to reveal the most shocking celebrity scandals ever. Here we go.

First Charlie Sheen, after pleading guilty to assaulting his now estranged wife, he got just three months probation.

Tiger Woods, just how many women he allegedly had affairs with is still a mystery.

Mel Gibson, those explosive recorded tapes of him threatening to kill his ex, frightening.

Woody Allen, remember how Woody was dating Mia Farrow and then after a while started dating -- her adopt -- then started dating then married her adopted daughter? That was a scandal with a capital "S".

And for our last shocking scandal, let`s bring a phrase out of retirement, shall we? Wardrobe malfunction, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and the Super Bowl halftime show we will never forget.

For the full list, pick up this month`s edition of "More" magazine. It`s on newsstands now.

HAMMER: The Kardashians really seem to have avoided a big scandal right now over their debit card and its outrageous fees. So many people were outraged over this thing. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe did cancel their debit card deal.

And Makisha F. on our Facebook wall thinks, "That was the right move" posting this, "I`m glad they dropped that card. It was irresponsible on their part".

But Audrey M. signing in with this, "Say what you will about them, but they have a great work ethic and have built a brand."

ANDERSON: And now the Showbiz Line-up here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, we`ve got Kate Gosselin`s dramatic new revelations today about those reports that her kids were kicked out of school. Should we be worried about Kate`s kids?

Explosive reports today that "Dancing with the Stars" would love, love, love to get this gal, Lindsay Lohan, on the show. So should Lindsay do it?

Also this --

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Patti Cake Patti Cake, baker`s man --

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Cats playing Patti Cake. I mean, Patti Cake, we`re going to play more of this for you today. It is perfectly hysterical.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: This is the "Showbiz News Ticker". These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Two of the sextuplets, Colin and Alexis, reports are that they were excelled from their school. True or false?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Kate Gosselin`s dramatic new revelations today. Did two of her kids get kicked out of school? And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, should we be worried about Kate`s kids?

ANDERSON: Taylor Swift, Jake Gyllenhaal; the brand new proof today that these two really are Hollywood`s hottest couple.

HAMMER: Lindsay goes dancing? Explosive reports today "Dancing with the Stars" really wants Lindsay Lohan on the show. Should Lindsay do it?

Plus breaking today from the "Showbiz News Ticker", Madonna`s shocking gym drama and Mariah Carey lights up the Big Apple.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I am A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, with big news breaking today. What about the kids? Kate Gosselin was back on TV today, revealing intimate details about the lives of her eight kids again. Kate reveals the real deal about the reports that two of her eight kids got kicked out of school. She is sharing new details about what life is like for the rest of Kate`s kids.

And today Kate is answering her critics once and for all. Will she take her kids off TV?

In New York is Caroline Schaefer, she is the executive editor of "US Weekly"; in Hollywood is Pat Lalama, who is an investigative journalist. Caroline, Pat, I was more than a little bit disturbed by the reports that two of Kate`s kids got expelled from school. I mean, what could 6-year- olds do to get the boot from school?

Well, today Kate Gosselin was on the "Today" show, attempting to set the record straight. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATE GOSSELIN, REALITY STAR: They were not expelled from school. We have a situation where we are in -- my kids are in an academically excelling school where academics are pushed and I fully support it, combined with kids who are having just gone through a divorce of their parents, suffering you know, all of those normal feelings and the two collided, and you know, they just were not doing well with the combination.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So, Kate says they are doing better now, but -- but that the pain of their parents` divorce has been weighing on all of the kids, understandably.

So Pat, to our "Showbiz Flashpoint" today. Should we be worried about the kids?

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: Yes, I think we should for a multitude of reasons. First of all right there was denial. She won`t say the word expelled, when you ask little kids to leave that`s being expelled.

(CROSSTALK)

ANDERSON: That`s -- well, or suspension or something. Yes, but she wouldn`t say it, though.

LALAMA: Ok, and that`s something very, very serious. And here`s the thing, they`ve been forced on into the global spotlight all their lives. They endured a raging divorce -- a big media divorce on the part of their parents. There`s no way those kids did not -- there`s no way they could have avoided knowing what their daddy was up to with his overvalued libido, and every poll in America with 15 minutes of fame.

ANDERSON: He was flaunting it, yes. And proud of it and it was embarrassing.

LALAMA: Ok, yes and -- and her with her celebrity obsession.

Here is the point, those kids need help. She better be monitoring them.

ANDERSON: Caroline --

CAROLINE SCHAEFER, EXECUTIVE EDITOR, US WEEKLY: Yes.

ANDERSON: -- we hit a nerve with Pat Lalama. What do you think? Should we be worried about Kate`s kids?

SCHAEFER: Well, she definitely has a point. These kids have been acting out for quite some time, they`re clearly are not happy. I think they need some stability. And you know, Kate is not there a lot, she`s really furthering her career, she`s flying all over the place, doing "Dancing with the Stars". And I think these kids are acting out because there`s crisis at home.

ANDERSON: They want mom around.

LALAMA: Absolutely.

ANDERSON: Well, when Jon and Kate split up, so many people said perfect, pull the kids off TV now. Let them live normal lives. Well today, Kate is sticking to her guns saying, no, the kids are staying on her show, "Kate Plus 8." Watch what she told the "Today" show this morning.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOSSELIN: Well, you know their best interest is what is good for the kids, what they enjoy. What I see on their faces and there has been nothing but positive that has come out of it. And you know, I am able -- I am working while they`re by my side, enjoying life and traveling. And that is not only providing us trips of a lifetime, but it`s providing for their future.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I understand there have been some positive results and exciting opportunities, but to say only positive things have come from her kids on a reality show. Pat, she got divorced. The -- the children no longer live with their dad. I think Kate needs a major reality check here.

LALAMA: She is in denial. I`ll say it again. She does not see the reality of the influence of media attention 24/7 on little, tiny minds. Something is wrong here. And I think the problem -- the fish stinks from the head as we Italians like to say, Italian-Americans. She`s not facing the issues. She doesn`t -- she doesn`t accept that she might be partly to blame for any of this. And this is a real problem.

ANDERSON: Might be a process that takes some time for her.

LALAMA: She needs to get with it.

ANDERSON: Well, Kate also made a bombshell revelation today about her husband Jon`s shocking Twitter apology. Jon said that he told Kate how sorry he was for, for you know, his outrageous Ed Hardy t-shirt wearing, 20-year-old dating, just madness. But this morning on the "Today" show, Kate said that the apology is news to her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOSSELIN: I have never personally been apologized to. I don`t really consider an interview on TV or a tabloid as an apology, unfortunately. But I have, strangely and ironically, I`ve forgiven him for the sake of my kids.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Kate says she has forgiven Jon. Caroline, do you believe her?

SCHAEFER: No I don`t. I don`t think she`s acting like she`s forgiven him. She takes every opportunity she can to slam him as a father. You know, they don`t have a cordial relationship. I -- I don`t think she`s forgiven him. I mean, I don`t -- I don`t know if she ever will.

LALAMA: She`s angry.

ANDERSON: She`s angry.

LALAMA: Yes, she`s really angry, I think. And she -- and she doesn`t take any personal responsibility. There is a -- it takes two to split up. It takes two to get together and two to split up. And for some reason I`m just not hearing her say I could have done things better. I`m just not hearing it.

SCHAEFER: Right.

ANDERSON: All right, I`ve got to move now to breaking Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal news. Because A.J., do we now have concrete proof that they`re together?

HAMMER: Well, maybe Brooke. I think we need to move from somebody who perhaps is living in denial to something we simply cannot deny. I -- I don`t think we can deny that these two are a couple. Look at this, this is the brand new cover of "US Weekly," SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today. You`ve got the brand new pictures of Taylor and Jake right there on the cover. And they look very, very cozy, to me.

Caroline, this is your magazine.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: This is your operation.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: Can they, in any way, deny this anymore?

SCHAEFER: Absolutely not. Not only are they are very cozy together but that was Thanksgiving. That`s a big deal for a couple to spend Thanksgiving together. And not and you know they`ve only been dating for five weeks, you know.

HAMMER: All right. All right.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: I -- I -- I`m here to say, I think we`re just going to officially put a check in the together box for the two of them.

SCHAEFER: Absolutely.

HAMMER: But -- but here is the thing.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: As a result of them now being together, they are certainly going to be one of the most watched couples on the planet. Dare I say, they could be the next Benifer --

SCHAEFER: Right.

HAMMER: -- maybe the next Brangelina.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: So of course, they require one of those superstar couple names that we love putting on them. Now the votes were pouring in today on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall. I just checked. And I think we can put up the top contenders, there you see, we have Jaylor, the other one, Gyllenswift --

SCHAEFER: Oh boy.

HAMMER: -- and finally a big, big one on the list today, Tay-Jay was coming in.

But Pat Lalama, I`ve got to tell you, I`m a Gyllenswift guy all the way. What`s your vote?

LALAMA: Ok, here is what I`m going to tell you.

HAMMER: Yes.

LALAMA: If there`s no lawsuit involved, I don`t care who is dating each other, ok? I just want to take the legal angle of any relationship. More power to them. I hope they`re happy.

But now I`m really going to upset you, because they may be in love. They may be together. But I think two publicists got together over the holidays, had some hot toddies and said ok, he`s got a movie, she`s got a record. Let`s stage this. I think those photos are staged with all due respect to our "US" Magazine representative.

SCHAEFER: Hey, hey.

LALAMA: I think they`re staged.

HAMMER: All right, hold, hold on a second. Well, first of all, Pat Lalama, all that said, you`re going with Gyllenswift, right? Come on, I`m going to get it out of you, Pat.

LALAMA: No, you`re not. No.

HAMMER: All right, Caroline, well, let me put that to you. But -- but first to Pat`s point, do these things really still happen? We always heard the fantasies about publicists getting together and putting couples together and certainly we have seen some of it play out before.

SCHAEFER: Right.

HAMMER: But this actually looks -- I don`t know, from my -- my vision, a little more serious.

SCHAEFER: I think there are skeptics out there. They say she has a record, he has a movie. But the reality is, he told his handlers, the people who work for him, to reach out to her because he had a crush on her. It`s real. They are spending time together --

HAMMER: All right.

SCHAEFER: -- they`ve spent the past five or six weekends together, they are very into each other and they are keeping it on the down-low. They are trying to.

HAMMER: We have that -- we have that settled with you now. Caroline I need to know Jaylor, Gyllenswift or Tay-Jay. What are you going with?

LALAMA: Give it up.

SCHAEFER: Tay-Jay?

HAMMER: Tay-Jay?

SCHAEFER: Yes, it rhymes. How can you say, I mean, how can you --

HAMMER: Even though this is a certain phonetic magic to Gyllenswift.

SCHAEFER: How about Jay-Tay?

HAMMER: Well, we could try with that.

SCHAEFER: Yes.

HAMMER: Just like our cameraman Jay-Ray here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

SCHAEFER: Oh ok.

HAMMER: Well, thank you very much, guys. I appreciate you being here.

LALAMA: Thanks A.J.

ANDERSON: All right, from new Hollywood "it" couple to Jake and Taylor, or Gyllenswift -- whatever you want to call them -- to Christina Aguilera speaking out about her divorce. Christina is speaking out today for the very first time about why her marriage ended. What Christina is saying now will blow you away.

HAMMER: So should Lindsay Lohan`s next step be a samba or maybe a salsa? There are explosive new reports today that Lindsay Lohan is wanted on "Dancing with the Stars". But should she do it?

ANDERSON: And Uma Thurman`s scary stalker shocker. There`s a dramatic new development today surrounding the guy who was convicted of stalking Uma. He`s in big trouble again. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: It`s time to take a look at the "Showbiz News Ticker" these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHER, ACTRESS: What is she doing up there?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think she`s auditioning.

CHER: Hey Dave, cut it.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hold on a second, just tell me what you`re looking for.

CHER: I`m looking for someone who can do the routine. Now, you want to show me something, show me that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, Christina Aguilera put on quite a show in her new movie "Burlesque." But her life behind the scenes was anything but a song and dance. Did her movie play a role in the breakup of her marriage?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And Christina Aguilera is breaking her silence today, Brooke, about her shocking divorce.

ANDERSON: Yes, she is. "I knew I had to end it." That`s the headline. That`s what Christina Aguilera is saying today about her shocking divorce from Jordan Bratman.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the advance copy of this week`s "People" magazine. And Christina reveals all the details of why she filed for divorce almost two months ago and who she`s dating now already.

And now in New York is Ben Widdicombe who is a celebrity journalist; also right now in New York is Shelly Wade, who is a radio host for New York C-100. Ben, Shelly, I have to say, Christina really held nothing back in the new issue of "People" magazine. In what I thought was one of the more startling revelations, she revealed she knew something was wrong with her marriage after she filmed her new movie "Burlesque."

She tells "People" this -- "I had an independence I`ve never felt before. I went from being a girl to a woman. When I finished filming, I didn`t feel right in my own shoes at home. I had a lot of things stirring inside of me that I felt were being suppressed. We tried to work on the marriage and figure out common ground but the problems were obvious."

Ben, does it sound to you like Christina is revealing that "Burlesque", in a way, brought down her marriage?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: I think she had what they call in the business Brooke, a location shift. I was very surprised at how strong she came out of the gate in this interview. She established very clearly that the marriage was over and that there was another man. She names him, an assistant on the set. And I don`t think she would have done that unless she was quite serious already with this other guy.

So it sounds like quite a lot happened on that set.

ANDERSON: In the interview, she said that she became friends with this guy, but they did not start dating until after she filed for divorce. And I`ll get to more details on that.

But Christina also says that she and Jordan, her husband, would argue all the time and that it just was not good for them or their 2-year-old son, Max. But as -- as we`re saying, things have turned around for Christina; she reveals to "People" that she started dating the set assistant from her movie "Burlesque" just after she filed for that divorce.

Shelly, so the ink was barely dry before she started dating. Are you surprised she moved on so soon?

SHELLY WADE, RADIO HOST, NEW YORK C-100: I have to say -- I can`t say that I`m surprised, but I -- I really don`t approve of that kind of behavior. I think that, you know, she already said she was with him since she was 21. They got married when she was 24. She didn`t have time to grow up as a person before she got married and then so quickly after she filed for divorce she`s already in a relationship that she`s going public with. It`s way too soon, way too soon.

ANDERSON: Ben, what do you think? Shelly talks about age being a factor here. Do you think that had something to do with it?

WIDDICOMBE: Oh, well, she has been in the public eye of course, since she was a Mouseketeer, she was a teen star before she was a movie star. So I think that she`s always had this need insecurity, and someone with her and maybe to look after her. And -- and so I`m surprised that she would jump from that ship, even if she wasn`t happy with this guy, who was quite junior on the set. That surprises me, too, actually.

ANDERSON: Well, we wish her and Jordan and, of course, their son, Max, we wish them happiness and wish them well.

I do have to move now to some big Lindsay Lohan developments today. A.J., Lindsay on "Dancing with the Stars". What?

HAMMER: I mean can you imagine it Brooke? It actually could happen, she`s actually making big news today because apparently "Dancing with the Stars" does want Lindsay for their next season.

And more big news breaking today, Michael Jackson`s dad headed back to court over MJ`s death.

Plus another big stalker scare for Uma Thurman. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz Today".

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER (voice-over): Uma`s new stalker scare. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal the man who was convicted of stalking Uma Thurman two years ago has just been arrested again after allegedly trying to call her.

Police tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Jack Jordan has been charged with failure to appear in court. According to "The Washington Post" Jordan may have violated his restraining order by calling Thurman`s cell phone and her office.

In a scary twist Jordan was reportedly caught Googling Thurman as police arrived at his home to arrest him.

Jackson`s wrongful death suit goes back to court. Michael Jackson`s father, Joe Jackson has just reportedly re-filed a wrongful death suit against Dr. Conrad Murray and added the pharmacy that sold the doctor his drug supply. Jackson`s dad first filed the suit on the first anniversary of Jackson`s death but a federal judge refused to hear the case.

The Associated Press reports Joe Jackson has now re-filed in a state court, accusing a Las Vegas pharmacy of selling Dr. Murray an excessive amount of Propofol, the drug associated with Jackson`s death.

Dancing with Lindsay Lohan? "Dancing with the Stars" producers reportedly want Lohan to join the cast next season. RadarOnline reports that the show has always been interested in Lohan but worried about her recent personal struggles as well as scheduling conflicts.

But now that Lindsay is in rehab and no longer scheduled to shoot the film "Inferno", producers are reportedly giving Lindsay a second look.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Look, I think Lindsay has got nothing to lose by doing "Dancing with the Stars." It could be a great way for her to start rehabbing her image. In fact, take a look, we -- we put together this sophisticated graphic just to give you an idea of what it looked like if Lindsay did go dancing.

Ben, what do you think? Great idea there? It`s pretty good.

WIDDICOMBE: I think it would be a win/win for Lindsay and "Dancing with the Stars" if she did that. The only equation is would she see it as beneath her to be on the program? I think she`s had a number of -- you know, her career has been going backwards frankly, I think it would be great for her.

HAMMER: Yes, yes and it would be great for her movie career? That`s the other question because that`s really what she probably she should focus on. But I do want to hear from you about this.

We`re asking in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll, Lindsay Lohan, should she do "Dancing with the Stars"? Yes, this could really help her image or no, bad idea? Vote at cnn.com/showbiztonight.

But there is more big "Dancing with the Stars" news I must get to you today. A brand new report reveals that the show might actually be reaching out to Sarah Palin`s husband, Todd.

I`ve got to do it again, Charles can you put this up? This is what that might look like. Now, I did want to put his head on Jennifer Grey`s body. They wouldn`t let me do that.

But Shelly, with all the controversy that surrounded Bristol doing the show, do you think Todd doing this show would be a good idea?

WADE: That is nothing but good publicity for "Dancing with the Stars". Can I mention how ironic this is that when -- when Levi Johnston was trying to be in the public eye, Sarah Palin was saying how he was trying to be Mr. Hollywood?

HAMMER: Yes.

WADE: Now her whole family is doing it. Bristol is on "Dancing with the Stars," she has her own reality show now and Todd maybe on -- you know --

HAMMER: I actually give -- I want to see Todd Palin and Lindsay Lohan dancing together --

WADE: And I think he would be a better dancer than Bristol.

HAMMER: Shelly Wade and Ben Widdicombe thanks, guys. I appreciate it.

ANDERSON: Speaking of "Dancing with the Stars," Jennifer Grey`s surgery shocker. Is the dancing champ about to go under the knife after all that ballroom dancing? The Showbiz Truth Squad is going to set the record straight today.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Here comes the "Showbiz News Ticker" more stories from SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Patty Cake Patty Cake, baker`s man; bake me a cake as fast as you can.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did you see this? How do you not love this? Kitty cats playing Patty Cake; everybody is talking about these crazy cats on YouTube today. In fact, the entire SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom could not stop laughing. These are some funny felines.

Yes there is all kinds of cuteness going on here, Brooke. Now, the guy who did the narration -- it`s actually two guys on this video. Really, really clever. But you know, it`s not all fun and games. Watch this part.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Patty Cake Patty Cake baker`s man; bake me a cake as fast as you can roll.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Ow, ow.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What`s that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dude, you bit me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Little baby.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Don`t call me a baby.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Brooke, them some crazy cats.

ANDERSON: Yes, crazy, but definitely cute, A.J. The fur really did fly, though, when one of the cats just wanted to quit the cake game. Watch out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Patty Cake Patty Cake baker`s man, bake me a cake as --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, dude well, you get quick.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Whoa, whoa, whoa.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You`re tired of you quitting like that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Stop. Stop, I`m done.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do not quit, no more quitting.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Patty Cake, Patty Cake, Patty Cake, come on.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s over.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did you see that? The cat just took a swipe at his patty cake pal. I think that cat needs a little time-out, Brooke.

ANDERSON: That`s just what cats do though, they can be adorable, but they can be feisty.

All right, A.J., I`ve got to tell you now about the brand new "Dancing with the Stars" drama today. Is new dancing champ Jennifer Grey getting ready for surgery? Reports today that 50-year-old Jennifer is going to go under the knife to fix a ruptured disk in her lower back. Well, we called out the "Showbiz Truth Squad" to check this out.

Here is your answer, listen to this. Jennifer Grey`s rep told us late today that Jennifer is quote, "Not scheduled for surgery. She is going in for a consultation."

HAMMER: On Tuesday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Well, they just handed me the final results. They`re pretty surprising to this question. The Kardashian sisters, do you get their popularity? Look at this a whopping 94 percent of you say Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are famous for nothing and only six percent think the Kardashian sisters are the hottest thing out there.

Here`s some e-mail, we got from Joe in Maryland who writes, "I couldn`t care less about the Kardashians, but they do work hard at whatever it is they do". To the Showbiz Facebook page, where Trisha F. posted this on our wall, "They are famous for nothing but I love to watch them. Tammy B. says, "I used to think they were famous for nothing. Now I think Kim is the cat`s meow and the whole family is like a sweet indulgence, just like chocolate".

And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern that`s Monday through Friday.

HAMMER: And we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
