(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - the shocking Gary Coleman suicide call.

An absolutely startling tape surfaced today of a call that Coleman`s ex- wife made to police and you are about to hear it for yourself. You will hear Gary`s ex, Shannon Price, call 911 and claim that Gary was suicidal.

And this brand-new strange twist in the Gary Coleman tragedy got even stranger today because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT also learned when the cops came to Gary`s house to see what was happening, it wasn`t to stop him from committing suicide. Instead, they arrested him.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Is he suicidal?

PRICE: Yes, he is suicidal. But I just don`t know what his problem is.

ANDERSON (voice-over): SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you it`s a shocking new look at the severe troubles of former child star, Gary Coleman.

PRICE: He just doesn`t need to be here. He is just acting crazy.

ANDERSON: In this dramatic newly revealed recording provided by TMZ today, we hear a 911 call placed by Gary Coleman`s frantic ex-wife, Shannon Price, during a domestic disturbance at Coleman`s Utah home last January. In the call Price says Coleman is disturbed and suicidal.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What is the problem there?

PRICE: Well, my husband freaked out last night, called the cops. They were going to arrest him but they didn`t. He is freaking out again, you know, hitting his head on the wall, knocked the fan over. You know, he is just being crazy again.

ANDERSON: Shannon tells the operator the police were over at the house the previous night as well, and that Coleman actually gave the police the OK to shoot him.

PRICE: He was telling the officer last night, "If I just come at you, just shoot me." Like, he`s crazy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right.

PRICE: He is crazy. He has problems.

ANDERSON: When the police got to the house, they arrested Coleman on a warrant for failure to appear in court for a domestic violence incident from last year.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": You know, it really shows you that Gary was really unhappy in his life.

ANDERSON: "In Touch Weekly," Kim Serafin, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, now that Shannon Price is fighting with some of Coleman`s associates to get control of her late ex`s estate, this new 911 call is answering questions about this complicated relationship.

SERAFIN: I think we all knew all along that the two of them had a very volatile relationship. And obviously, Gary had some anger issues. But hearing her tell some of the things that are going on, I think gives a new light into their relationship, and also into the life Gary was leading.

ANDERSON: Price and Coleman wed in 2007, and they made no secret of their volatile marriage.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You say he`s got anger issues.

ANDERSON: In 2008, they appeared on "Divorce Court" talking about Coleman`s temper.

PRICE: If he doesn`t get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a five- year-old does. And he like, stomps the floor and he`s like - he starts throwing stuff around and he bashes his head on the wall, too.

ANDERSON: It was only after Coleman died last month that we found out he and Shannon Price have been divorced since 2008. But they lived together in his Utah home right up until his death. And it was Shannon who was allowed to make the decision to take Coleman off life support after he suffered a brain hemorrhage from a fall in his home.

SERAFIN: People are questioning their relationship. People are questioning whether she really should have been making these decisions for him.

ANDERSON: And today, even more questions about Price`s decision to discontinue Coleman`s life support. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has obtained this document signed by Coleman in 2006. In it Coleman checks a box titled, "Choice to prolong life." It clearly says, quote, "I want my life to be prolonged as long as possible within the limits of generally accepted health care standards."

PRICE: The doctors advised me that, you know, it was grim.

ANDERSON: Right after Coleman`s death, Price defended her decision to take him off life support in an interview on "Good Morning America."

PRICE: He went into cardiac arrest as well. And so the doctors advised me that this is the best thing for him.

ANDERSON: And she said despite their issues, she and Coleman loved each other.

PRICE: Every couple, you know, has their moments. And yes, we had a lot of disagreements, but we loved each other. It was golden.

ANDERSON: In fact, on that newly discovered 911 cape from last January, we hear Price tell the operator she can`t leave Coleman`s side.

PRICE: I`m trying to help him because, you know, he has so many medical problems. And you know, I thought it would be kind of mean if I just left, you know.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right.

PRICE: Because he would just die.

ANDERSON: So as Price tries to convince the country and the courts that she was Coleman`s true wife and deserves his estate, we`re getting even more evidence that this relationship was unconventional, to say the least.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

The startling revelations today that Gary may not have wanted to be taken off life support are sure to raise new questions about Shannon Price`s decision to order him unplugged as she battles for control of his estate, which brings us to today`s "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint," should Gary`s ex-wife get control of his estate?

Right now in Hollywood is Jim Moret. He is chief correspondent for "Inside Edition" and author of "The Last Day of My Life." Also in Hollywood, it is "Extra" correspondent, Jerry Penacoli.

OK. Jim, Jerry, there is a huge battle, as we know, going on right now between Shannon and Gary`s reported ex-girlfriend Anna Gray, who submitted a will saying that, you know, Gary left everything to her. Jerry, to the "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint," should Shannon get control of the estate?

JERRY PENACOLI, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Absolutely not. And I think any lawyer will back up that answer. Do the math. They were married in August 2007, divorced in August 2008, we now find out. They we living together at the time of his death, but that does not entitle her to any iota of an amount of that estate, period.

ANDERSON: Yes, the marriage was very short-lived.

JIM MORET, CHIEF CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": However, according to Utah law, you can have a common law marriage.

ANDERSON: And she claims they did. Yes, and they were still living together.

(CROSS TALK)

PENACOLI: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) based on how many years, though?

MORET: There is not a year requirement. No, the requirement in Utah, Jerry, is that they hold themselves out as husband and wife - and you know that their divorce was secret - that they act and live as husband and wife. She never moved out of the house. She also claims that had sexual relations -

PENACOLI: But for how many years?

ANDERSON: Not very many.

MORET: This is the question. The question is - and this is something the judge will take weeks to decide.

ANDERSON: Yes.

PENACOLI: Yes.

MORET: This is going to be deferred for several weeks.

ANDERSON: It`s going to take long, and I have to tell you, it`s really unclear at this point who should get control of the estate. And I want to tell you this, Jim, we did just late today get the results for our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll and not many people are on team Shannon, when we asked this, "Gary Coleman: Should his ex-wife get control of his estate?"

Only nine percent said yes. An astounding 91 percent said she should get nada. So Jim, in the court of public opinion, she`s not winning.

MORET: Yes, Jerry is right. And I think for most people the one thing that really tipped the balance is that photo, that photo of Shannon with Gary Coleman in the hospital when he is unconscious, semiconscious. No one that I have talked to - I just can`t even imagine. It`s hard to look at the picture.

ANDERSON: Yes.

MORET: And it`s harder to forget it.

ANDERSON: If you really loved somebody, you don`t do that. You wouldn`t do that.

MORET: It smacks of a sham -

ANDERSON: Well, Shannon is facing a new firestorm now. Yes, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - I want to tell you this, Jerry - SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained court documents showing that Gary did not want to be taken off life support before 15 days. Shannon did it in two.

In a new interview today with "Entertainment Tonight," Shannon said this, "The doctors advised me that he was not going to make it because his heart was going to give out. Gary and I had talked about that. And he said, "If I am a vegetable, just pull it out."

OK, nobody ever wants to be put in that terrible position that Shannon was in. But Jerry, are you convinced, though, that Shannon did what she thought was right?

PENACOLI: Well, I will tell you this. This whole relationship from the very beginning, from her perspective, smacks of a relationship of opportunity. And that`s all I`ll say.

ANDERSON: Well, despite all their troubles, Shannon claims they were in love, that it was golden. It`s hard to believe at certain times when talking about this story.

OK. On to another really strange story breaking today, but in so many different ways. Charlie Sheen ditched. Cops say that Charlie`s car was stolen and dumped in a ditch in the wee hours this morning.

And here is the crazy part. It`s the second time in four months this exact same thing has happened to Charlie. Now, I`ve seen all kinds of wacky things on the freeway, as I know you have, Jim, as I know you have, Jerry, including mattresses, but that`s another story.

The point is, I`m staying clear of Charlie Sheen`s runaway car. Jim, does Charlie just have the worst luck in the world, or is something else going on?

MORET: Yes, it`s weird. I was there in February. I was there today. Police in the area say, in recent memory, there have been three cars that this has happened to - two Mercedes and a Bentley. Two of those cars belong to Charlie Sheen.

ANDERSON: It`s like bandits running loose, stealing cars and ditching them over the ditch.

MORET: Both times he left his keys in his ignition.

ANDERSON: Why?

MORET: I mean, after the first time, you`d say, "I`m not going to do that."

ANDERSON: Maybe this time - maybe it won`t happen a third time. We`ll see. Charlie, keep a close eye on that car. OK, Jim Moret, Jerry Penacoli, thanks, guys.

Moving on, a disturbing Miley Cyrus photo controversy today. Was a photo of Miley without her underwear just posted online? Why is it child pornography today? Remember, Miley is still just 17. Just really upsetting.

My exclusive interview with Eminem. He opened up to me and revealed some very disturbing themes, including how he almost died. It`s my headline-making interview you`ll see only SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

EMINEM: If I didn`t admit that I was weak with this certain thing. I was going to die, you know. So -

ANDERSON (on camera): How close did you come?

EMINEM: I certainly probably couple hours away from death.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Jennifer Aniston`s super sexy film role. The surprising details out today about a brand-new movie, but is she taking it all off? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Dina Manzo, one of the stars of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" quits the show. "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner tells "GQ" he`s tired of being asked to take his shirt off.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Hey, welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Is Jennifer Aniston going naked for her next big movie role? Plus, Ryan Seacrest`s scary stalker gets locked up. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Seacrest`s stalker gets the max. A judge has just thrown the book at a man who stalked Ryan Seacrest. Chidi Benjamin Uzomah, Jr. was arrested last fall carrying a knife outside of Seacrest`s office.

He pleaded no contest to repeatedly stalking Seacrest. The judge sentenced him to the maximum two years in prison, and ordered him to stay at least 500 yards away from Seacrest for 10 years after he gets out.

Jennifer Aniston`s sexy new role. We just learned that Aniston`s next big movie called "Horrible Bosses" will show her in a sexually provocative new light. Her rep tells "People" magazine, "The role does require an aggressive sexuality that many folks have not seen from Jennifer on screen before."

But despite reports she`ll be naked, her rep says that`s not happening.

Cameron Diaz` mommy dilemma. Diaz has just revealed to "In Style" magazine she is not sure having kids is in her future. The 37-year-old Diaz tells "In Style," quote, "Having children changes your life drastically, and I really love my life. Children aren`t the only things that bring you gratification and happiness. And it`s easier to give life than to give love. So I don`t know." The new issue of "In Style" hits newsstands Friday.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Cameron`s revelations are really striking a nerve with a lot of women of a certain age today. Right now, in New York, is Cathy Areu. She is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine. Hey, Cathy, I love Cameron. She is bold. She is brash.

CATHY AREU, PUBLISHER, "CATALINA" MAGAZINE: Yes.

ANDERSON: She makes her own rules.

AREU: Yes.

ANDERSON: And one of them is to not feel pressure to have a child if that`s not what she wants to do. So I`m thinking a lot of women who make that same choice are cheering her on for saying what they may be thinking but are reluctant to say publicly. What do you think?

AREU: Absolutely. I mean a lot of women today are choosing not to have kids until maybe when they turn 40. But to say that giving life is easier than giving love, I think, is also a little wrong. And she is upsetting women, right? You`ve given life, Brooke.

ANDERSON: Yes, you and I both went through labors. I had a long labor. It`s not easy.

AREU: Thank you. It`s not easy. So I don`t know where she got that information. So I love my Cameron, but I don`t appreciate the "giving life is easy" part. So Cameron, come on.

ANDERSON: I see where you`re coming from on that.

AREU: Yes.

ANDERSON: And I do have to move now to Jennifer Aniston and the news today that she`ll be doing a movie that her rep says will require an aggressive sexuality.

Cathy, she looks as incredible at 41 years old as she did 20 years ago. Now, her rep says she won`t be going completely nude. But Cathy, do you think women are going to be rooting her on because she is being bold, she is being fearless here?

AREU: Absolutely. We all want to look that great at 41. We all want to look that great at 21. I mean, please, Jennifer, keep doing these things. Keep pushing the envelope. Be sexy at 41. Be sexy at 51, 61. Keep doing it for all of our sakes, please.

ANDERSON: Yes, be confident. Be comfortable if your own skin.

AREU: Sure.

ANDERSON: Cathy Areu, thank you so much. Great to see you. All right. We are demanding that Katy Perry set the record straight today. Did she really diss Lady Gaga for her controversial "Alejandro" video? We go right to Katy herself.

In one corner, California girl Katy and the other, New York-raised Gaga. Katy, settle this east coast-west coast smackdown once and for all, will you?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATY PERRY, SINGER: I`m the hugest Lady Gaga fan, but I`m also the hugest Jesus Christ fan.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: And oh no, they didn`t. Big news today about one of the White House party crashers getting a reality show. Lots of brand new outrage here.

Also, my exclusive dramatic interview with Eminem.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera): You`ve been through a very dark time in your life. You took a five-year hiatus. How did you pull yourself out of that dark time?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Eminem opens up to me about his disturbing near-death experience.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: New videogame featuring Michael Jackson to be released in time for Christmas. Betty White and her "Hot in Cleveland" co-stars ring the NYSE opening bell today.

ANDERSON: And now, HLN`s salute to dads. Father`s Day coming up. And we`ve been asking stars what their fathers mean to them.

Today, Daniel Radcliffe. The "Harry Potter" star says he`ll be eternally grateful to his dad who gave up his career so that Daniel could focus on his.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DANIEL RADCLIFFE, ACTOR: My dad gave up his career as an agent, a literary agent to writers and directors to chaperon me when I got the part of Harry Potter and look after me on the set.

And so he is an absolutely wonderful father. And we are very, very alike. And I love him with all my heart and Happy Father`s Day`s, Dad.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Aww. Hey, the money that Daniel`s made, I hope he`s buying his dad something really nice, not just a tie, even though a tie would be appreciated, I`m sure. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Making news today, Michael Jackson`s doctor can keep his medical license. A California judge refused to ban Dr. Conrad Murray from practicing in the state. Jackson`s family, who was in the courtroom, was not happy with the decision.

Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter related to Michael`s death. He is accused of administering the drug Propofol that killed Michael nearly a year ago. A preliminary hearing is set for August.

Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there as Michael Jackson was honored in New York City. The stars were out in full force as Jackson was inducted into the famous Apollo Theater`s Legends Hall of Fame. The Jackson 5 performed at the Apollo in the late `60s. Their Apollo performance helped launch their careers.

Marc Anthony, who was there with his wife Jennifer Lopez, told us that Michael is definitely one of a kind.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARC ANTHONY, SINGER: There are very few people in history that are born - that are born to sacrifice their life to change the status quo. You know, you could think of an Elvis who never had much of a personal life, but is Elvis.

The Michael Jacksons of the world who didn`t have much of a personal life but just gave his whole entire life to changing culture. So I mean it`s well-documented. It`s well-documented. But I`m - what I`m actually surprised about is it took this long, right? I`m like -

JENNIFER LOPEZ, SINGER AND ACTRESS: Yes. That`s true.

ANTHONY: I would have thought it would have happened a long time ago.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I also want to tell you that Aretha Franklin was inducted into the Apollo Hall of Fame too.

OK. I just checked our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall. And Facebook fans are fired up over this today - the controversial new photo of 29-year- old Kim Kardashian running along the beach holding hands with 16-year-old Justin Bieber. There they are.

Karen thinks the picture is no big whoop. She writes, "What`s the big deal, people? Leave Kim alone. She is famous. He is famous. So what is the problem?"

But Debbie L. thinks Kim K. should stay away, "I think Kim Kardashian should leave that kid alone. Justin Bieber is not her toy boy and he is 16 years old." Gosh darn it.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - the gate crasher reality show.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT confirmed today that the White House party crasher who became infamous for sneaking into President Obama`s first White House state dinner will be starring in a brand-new reality TV show.

Bravo announced today that Michaele Salahi will appear in the new show, "The Real Housewives of D.C." It premiers in August. And I`ve got to ask, are she and her husband, who famously talk their way into the White House last November, being rewarded for bad behavior?

With me right now in Hollywood, Jim Moret, who is the chief correspondent for "Inside Edition" and the author of "The Last Day of My Life," this book. And in New York, Dawn Yanek, who is an editor-at-large for "Life and Style Weekly."

Guys, we will get to the gate crashers reality check in just a moment.

But first, another reality check. Brand new outrage today over comments made by the father of this 16-year-old girl that we see in the pictures, the girl who attempted to sail around the world alone. And she had to be rescued at sea.

Jim, in a brand new interview, her father seems to be backtracking now about whether his real motivation, his initial motivation was a reality show. But do you think anything he says can sway the court of public opinion?

MORET: Well, we know that their son, who was 17, made a similar trip successfully. This family loves sailing. It`s another issue whether it`s safe for a 16-year-old to do so. But there is evidence to suggest that he was at least talking with reality show producers.

ANDERSON: Yes, absolutely.

MORET: He called it shopping the shows. So he was really splitting hairs saying, "Well, we didn`t have a deal. We were shopping a deal." And a lot of people are saying, "Wait a minute. Your daughter`s life was on the line here. Is that a good thing for you to do?" He said it`s to inspire young people. And I think he claims he backed out of the deal.

ANDERSON: But to send his 16-year-old daughter sailing around the world all by herself. I just - I cannot even fathom doing something like that as a parent. And in the brand-new interview that he did with CNN`s Larry King, the dad, Lawrence Sunderland, seems to flip-flop over whether or not there was a family reality show in the works with a producer by the name of Ted Caloroso. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Did you have a deal with him?

LAWRENCE SUNDERLAND, FATHER OF ABBY SUNDERLAND: We had a shopping agreement with Ted Caloroso.

KING: So you were going to shop what to a network?

L. SUNDERLAND: Shop a TV reality show. It was supposed to be an inspirational reality TV show based on Zac and Abigail as being an inspiration to the youth of today.

KING: But you said there wasn`t a reality show planned.

L. SUNDERLAND: No, there is not a reality show now. There was a reality show shopping agreement that we had.

KING: You mean being with a company and they would shop to it a network?

L. SUNDERLAND: Exactly.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Oh, I see. There was reality shopping agreement, a reality show shopping agreement, but no reality show in the works. Now, that makes perfect sense to me.

Dawn, do you think dad is changing his tune now because he is realizing that the tide has turned against him?

DAWN YANEK, EDITOR-AT-LARGE, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Oh, it certainly seems like it. You know, today, a lot of parallels were being drawn between the Sunderlands and the Heene family who, of course, were the family at the heart of the Balloon Boy controversy. All of this makes you -

ANDERSON: At least the Heenes didn`t actually send their child up in the balloon.

YANEK: Thank goodness. Thank goodness.

ANDERSON: Yes.

YANEK: It kind of makes you shake your head and wonder why there aren`t requirements before you are allowed to have a child. But really, the question that this raises is, at what point does this reprehensible behavior - if all of this pans out to be true, at what point do the public say OK, enough is enough.

You know, we`ve seen it time and time again at "Life and Style Weekly" when reality stars and reality shows really don`t succeed is when people seem like they are blatantly trying to manipulate the public.

When we watch reality TV, we want to see a glimpse into people`s lives. We want to feel like voyeurs a little bit.

ANDERSON: Yes.

YANEK: Nothing like this, not when it`s this blatant quest for fortune and fame and when children`s lives are being put in danger.

ANDERSON: You disagree, Jim?

MORET: Well, I do. I think the Heene family - it went way over the line. That was a hoax. This is not a hoax. This family - some people may think they`re crazy, but this is what they do. This is what they do.

YANEK: When is that over the line?

ANDERSON: At least the Heenes did not put their child in danger. Yes, it was a hoax. They lied.

MORET: Yes, but they -

ANDERSON: It was all - I`m just going to say this - both despicable. Both despicable.

MORET: That`s your opinion.

ANDERSON: All right, my opinion. And I`ve got to say that "New York Post" columnist Linda Stacey really got to the very heart of the matter, because take a look at what she wrote today, "The only difference between setting a kid adrift in the Indian Ocean and forcing your child out of the car on the expressway is that one is illegal and one isn`t."

Well, if that doesn`t hit the nail on the head, I don`t know what does. But Jim, even though the dad didn`t do anything illegal, it still doesn`t make what he did right.

MORET: And you talked about bad behavior being rewarded. What do we see on reality shows when we talk about "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," when we hear about these sex tapes. Did it happen on hiatus? No, it happened just before the season premiere. I mean, this was just - it`s all going crazy. We`re all nuts.

ANDERSON: And that`s your opinion.

MORET: That`s my opinion.

ANDERSON: I`m not going to include myself in that. All right. I want to move now to the brand-new announcement today that White House party crashers - speaking of bad behavior, Jim.

MORET: Yes.

ANDERSON: That White House party crasher, Michaele Salahi, will star in the very first installment of "The Real Housewives of D.C." Make no mistake about it. I think she is being rewarded for the bad behavior. But I will be tuning in, OK?

Dawn, what do you think though? Do you think she is being rewarded for the bad behavior?

YANEK: Well, it certainly seems to be the case. But that said, according to Bravo, they were already filming this series with her in it. And this bad behavior, the whole scandal, the gate crash at the White House happened towards the tail-end of the filming.

So I think Bravo is definitely tiptoeing around this very carefully. It`s going to be very interesting to see how Michaele is portrayed during the season and during this event. That said, the "Housewives" franchise is massive. People absolutely love it. And this is not going to hurt it. It`s going to generate interesting buzz.

ANDERSON: Yes, people are obsessed with it.

YANEK: Yes.

ANDERSON: And the executives at Bravo - Andy Cohen over at Bravo, they`re smart. They know what they`re doing here. And I have to tell you this though, that when the news broke today, we shared it our Facebook fans. And the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall just blew up.

Chris D. wrote this, "Hey, don`t blame the people giving them the show because you all know you`re going to watch it just because you don`t like her."

And Renee A. wrote this on our wall, "Of course there should be outrage. They, whether maliciously or not, endangered the security of the nation for superficial attention. They do not deserve to be rewarded for that." Jim, are they being rewarded?

MORET: We`re going to watch. My daughter, my wife -

ANDERSON: Are you going to watch?

MORET: Yes. Because my daughter and wife watch New York, "The Real Housewives." I walk in the room and say I`m leaving, then I sit down and I`m sucked in.

Now, the same with New Jersey and now, the same with this. And there is a question. Was Bravo involved in this gate-crashing? Isn`t this great publicity for them? Because we`re talking about it and you know we`re going to be turning in.

ANDERSON: That`s right. Everybody`s talking about it and everybody is now aware that "The Real Housewives of D.C." premiers in August on Bravo. Get the Tivos ready. Jim Moret, Dawn Yanek, thank you both. Good to see you.

ANDERSON: And right now, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. Rap superstar, Eminem, shares with me intimate new details about his battle with drugs, a battle that nearly left him dead.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera): You`ve been through a very dark time in your life. You took a five-year hiatus. How did you pull yourself out of that dark time?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I think you`re going to be shocked by this. I was. It`s the groundbreaking new Eminem interview that you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

And breaking Miley Cyrus news today - was there a sexually revealing photo of 17-year-old Miley posted online?

And did Katy Perry diss Lady Gaga? Katy sets the record straight once and for all. We go right to Katy herself.

ANDERSON: A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive - Eminem revealed. You`re looking at Eminem`s brand-new music video for "Not Afraid," the first single off his album "Recovery." Today, Eminem reveals his dramatic near-death road to recovery.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Right, now my SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive with Eminem. I just got one on one with Eminem at L.A. Staples Center right before he took the stage. He was there for Activision`s E-3 kickoff event.

M`s new track, "Went Back Down" is on the videogame "Call of Duty Black Ops." Now, while Eminem there was to celebrate the release of the new videogame, our conversation turned serious when we talked about M`s new album, "Recovery," and his dramatic brush with death.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(on camera): You`ve been through a very dark time in your life. You took a five-year hiatus. How did you pull yourself out of that dark time?

EMINEM: Well, it was definitely - it was a process. It was - it took me a while to actually admit, you know, that I had a problem. I mean, you know, in the hip-hop world that I live in, I think that it can be mistaken for weakness.

And the last thing you want to do in hip-hop is admit that you`re weak. But if I didn`t admit that I was weak with this certain thing, I was going to die, you know. So -

ANDERSON: How close did you come?

EMINEM: I certainly, probably a couple hours away from death. Not to make this too tense of a moment, but yes. I overdosed and almost died.

ANDERSON: How did you mentally turn it around? Because like you say, you are strong, tough, macho guy. How did you do it?

EMINEM: Well, I had to admit that I had a problem. I had to - I think I had to - I had to be ready for myself, Like I had to be ready for me. I don`t mean to make it sound cliche, but you have to do it for yourself, you know. You can`t do it for other people.

And I think that when I went to rehab the first time back in, I think, 2005, I felt like I was doing it for other people. I wasn`t doing it for me. So I kind of went in, fought the system, didn`t really want to listen to what anybody had to say about it.

And I felt like, "Well, I don`t have a problem like these people, you know." I just take this because I just take these pills because I can`t sleep. I have a sleeping problem. I just take, you know, Vicodin for recreation, you know. But -

ANDERSON: An excuse for everything?

EMINEM: Definitely. And you know, then, I went through a really rough period after I came home from rehab. And I lost my best friend and kind of the reins were off. It was kind of just like, you know, screw it.

This is like, you know. And from there, I really went downhill. And that`s when I overdosed, got out of the hospital, relapsed a short time after that. Basically scared the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out of myself and went to some people and was like, yes, I`ve got a problem. I need help. I can`t beat this on my own, because the whole time I was - I think I was thinking that I could, but I couldn`t.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: I was absolutely blown away by Eminem`s dramatic confessions and the fact that he is even alive today after what he went through.

Right now, in New York is Cathy Areu, who is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine. Also, right now, in New York, is Steven Smith, who is a music and pop culture expert.

Guys, I`ve got to tell you, when I was standing there talking to Eminem, it astounded me that this larger-than-life rap phenom actually admitted to weakness and that admission ultimately saved his life. Steven, you completely awestruck by Eminem`s unbelievable story?

STEVEN SMITH, MUSIC AND POP CULTURE EXPERT: I think what he did is very, very strong. And I understand in that community, in the music community general, in life in general, when you have to say, "I have a problem," people think, "Yes, I`m broken."

But saying there is a problem is a sign that you are healthy and kudos to him for doing it. That`s a very strong thing. And be that guy. Show your fans - you know fans go through the same thing the artists do - that even if you have a problem, admit it and fix it.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SMITH: And fixing it for himself is best thing to do.

ANDERSON: And really - really, it shows the opposite, not that you`re weak, but that you are strong.

SMITH: Exactly.

ANDERSON: And that you are smart, that you can make that admission and go and get help and be healthy. Good for Eminem. And I had a great time talking to him.

All right. I`ve got to move on now to Katy Perry`s Lady Gaga confession today to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there when Katy walked off stage after performing in New York City`s Times Square.

We had to ask her about her apparent Twitter slam on Lady Gaga`s video, "Alejandro" suggesting it was blasphemy. We asked if she is really feuding with Gaga.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PERRY: No, of course not. I think people like to put girls into feuds to make them cat fight because it`s kind of hot to see, like, two oiled girls go at hit it. I`m the hugest Lady Gaga fan, but I`m also the hugest Jesus Christ fan.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Cathy, it seems to me she has clarified it. Are you team Katy or are you team Gaga?

AREU: I`m totally team Gaga. I think she meant it. She meant to start this cat fight. And I think she really cleared it up, "Yes, I meant to start this fight." That`s how she cleared it up. She was definitely going against Lady Gaga.

ANDERSON: I think she was defending her religious beliefs. Steven, you know, what do you think? And are you team Katy or are you team Gaga?

SMITH: I`ve interviewed both of them. And Katy was always really, really super cool and very smart about her faith. Gaga is awesome and eccentric, and both are great songwriters. But I think Katy`s point was that was blasphemous.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SMITH: She is a Christian, so what happened is blasphemous to her as a Christian. Lady Gaga might not be -

ANDERSON: And good for her -

SMITH: Other people aren`t -

ANDERSON: For standing up for what she believes in.

SMITH: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Cathy Areu, we`ll leave it there - Steven Smith. Thanks, guys.

ANDERSON: A breaking Miley Cyrus photo controversy today. Comparisons of a new Miley picture to child pornography. This story has a few moving parts, so stick with me. Big-time showbiz, Perez Hilton, posted a photo of Miley on Twitter. In the photo, she was wearing a short dress. Some people suggested she wasn`t wearing any underwear.

Remember, Miley is only 17. That`s got some people furious and could get Perez hit with child porn charges. So you know the ladies of "The View" had something to say about this.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": In case there is an accident.

You can`t attack a girl for not wearing underwear.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": What if she was?

BEHAR: It`s none of his business to get under her dress with a camera.

HASSELBECK. It is criminal to distribute it. It is criminal to distribute it.

SHEPHERD: It is wrong on a lot of different levels. But when you know - and you do have your privacy. But when you know the paparazzi is after everything you do, I don`t know, maybe you take your underwear off when you get to the location.

HASSELBECK: It is not illegal to go commando. Commando is legal.

SHEPHERD: Maybe some people forget that Miley -

HASSELBECK: I don`t have underwear on right now.

SHEPHERD: But you are also 35 - whatever, however old you are. Sorry.

(CROSS TALK)

BEHAR: I have an update. Perez Hilton is saying she was wearing underwear, that the person -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Photoshop.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PEREZ HILTON, CELEBRITY BLOGGER: Do you think I`m stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she`s not wearing any underwear down there? No. Sure, I like to be controversial but I don`t want to go to jail. People, snap out of it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Speaking of clothing, what are you wearing, Perez? All right. Monday we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll and I got to see the incredible final results. "Gary Coleman: Should his ex-wife get control of his estate?" Only nine percent say yes, Gary`s wife should have control; 91 percent say no way.

Shannon supporters were hard to find. But we did get this E-mail from Sheryl in Indiana, "She deserves to get everything. She was all he had." Well, Sheryl didn`t have a lot of company supporting Shannon`s side.

Catherine from Canada sent in an E-mail to tell us that she thinks Shannon shouldn`t get a dime, "Her shady behavior reeks. She is blatantly trying to profit from Gary`s death. We do appreciate your E-mails. Keep them coming.
