(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

A.J. HAMMER, HLN CO-HOST: Right now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: brand new Tiger Woods shockers. Tonight a puzzling new drama surrounding the woman accused of having an affair with Tiger, her startling about-face today. Plus the unbelievable $5 million offer to Tiger today connected to adultery.

Also tonight: the great debate over Tiger`s privacy and the all out Tiger war this morning on "The View".

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Not the same. You know it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Should everyone just leave Tiger alone?

And tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the brand-new fired up debate. Should Tiger`s wife him to take a hike?

Tonight party poopers: the reality show wannabes accused of crashing a White House party do the unthinkable today. Why they have now have a lot of powerful people even more ticked off at them.

Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN CO-HOST: Hi there everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood.

And tonight: the brand new Tiger mystery.

HAMMER: Something happened today that was big news because of what didn`t happen. And yes we can explain all this because the Tiger Woods cheating scandal made for more big news breaking today.

The woman whose alleged affair with Tiger Woods was a major part of the explosive Tiger scandal did a last minute unexplained about-face today that left everybody just startled. But why did she do it? And Tiger got a shocking $5 million offer today from a company that is trying to get him to cash in on having an extra marital affair? Does that just prove that Tiger has already become a big joke?

There was also a heated debate over whether Tiger`s wife should stand by her man despite the release of that voice mail of him allegedly from a cocktail waitress who claims that she had a sexual affair with Tiger nearly two dozen times.

Joining me tonight: from Atlanta, it`s Vinnie Politan, host of "In Session"; and from Hollywood tonight, Leslie Marshall host of the "Leslie Marshall Radio Show".

The great mystery began to unravel just this morning. We were all waiting for this news conference in Los Angeles with Rachel Uchitel; that`s the first woman who surfaced in the whole Tiger Woods alleged affair controversy.

Suddenly we have the shocking news. The whole thing was canceled. Brooke, what happened here?

ANDERSON: Well, I will do my best to try to explain this. As you said it`s kind of a mystery but take a look at this A.J. Famed celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who in all my years in the business has always stuck to holding a press conference that she announced, suddenly canceled the one she was having today with Uchitel. Gloria attributing the cancellation to mysterious unforeseen circumstances and she added that there would be no further statements on this matter.

A.J., let`s remember that Uchitel had denied having an affair with Tiger, but talk about doing a 180. She obviously had something she wanted out about Tiger that was worthy of a Gloria Allred press conference.

HAMMER: Yes. And it seems unprecedented for Gloria Allred to cancel a press conference.

Over to you Vinnie Politan; you have to admit this is pretty strange.

VINNIE POLITAN, HOST, "IN SESSION": It is unusual. Gloria Allred, great attorney; but what`s it all about? What does she need an attorney for? Well, maybe she is negotiating with someone. Maybe there is some sort of deal in place.

And then all of a sudden, what Brooke said, very important, there is not going to be any further press conference. No details. This thing is over. Dead. She is going silent.

Why did she go silent, A.J.? What would quiet her down? Could it be money? M-o-n-e-y?

HAMMER: Hey, dollars.

The money certainly speaks and there is certainly a lot of money potentially flying around in the air.

POLITAN: A lot of money.

HAMMER: But again, potentially, obviously, a lot of speculation as well.

POLITAN: True.

HAMMER: About what Rachel Uchitel might reveal at a press conference.

Let`s not forget it was just yesterday that "US Weekly" posted that explosive voice mail message on their Web site. A voice mail that Tiger apparently left for a woman who claims that she had a long affair with Tiger.

Her name is Jaimee Grubbs. She`s a 24-year-old cocktail waitress. She also happened to appear on the VH1 reality show, "Tool Academy". You have to listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

TIGER WOODS, PROFESSIONAL GOLFER: Hey, it`s Tiger.

I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you; so if you can please take your name off that and just have it as a number on the voicemail. Just have it as your telephone number in.

You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Just have it as your telephone number or maybe make up the name of a business so she thinks she`s calling somebody`s office.

No, I need to...

POLITAN: Mandalay Industries.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has not independently confirmed that the male voice is Tiger Woods. But Leslie, I think it is fair to say that with that voice mail out there, now any time Tiger`s name is linked to a woman, red flags are going to be flying high.

LESLIE MARSHALL, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Oh absolutely. Why was his wife checking his phone A.J.? Maybe this has happened before? Transgressions, yes it is plural.

I think though even if she changed her name, a lot of people know Home Depot doesn`t sell lingerie. When the wife is checking the phone -- I mean, this is just crazy -- I`m sitting here going this is an adult man who is perhaps the best golfer in the world. No one even argues that. He has two children and I really felt like I was listening in and watching like freshman high school all over again.

This is really disgusting when you think about it.

HAMMER: There is that and one of the best known golf players in the world -- the best know golf player in the world leaving -- potentially if that is him -- his name on the voice mail.

MARSHALL: Yes.

HAMMER: Let me get to this other bombshell today. I don`t think this went in Tiger`s favor at all. Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik who once employed Tiger`s wife Elin as a nanny and who introduced Tiger to her is now blasting him today.

Florida affiliate WPEC caught up with this Swedish golfer. He let loose on Tiger. I have to tell you, he really let loose on Tiger. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JESPER PARNEVIK, PROFESSIONAL GOLF PLAYER: I would feel especially sad about it since I`m kind of feeling really sorry for Elin since me and my wife are at fault hooking her up with him. And sort of thought he was a better guy than he is then. I would probably just have to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time than a three iron.

I mean it`s a private thing, of course, but when you`re -- the guy, when you are the world`s best athlete, you should think a little more before you do stuff. Maybe not just do it like Nike said.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Vinnie, I`m watching this and saying, "This isn`t good for Tiger." This is no good. This is the guy who set him up with his wife.

POLITAN: Yes. This -- I think this one hurts more than the rest because this is a fellow golfer. We know how important Tiger is to the game of golf worldwide and this is a friend of his and a friend of theirs. And the quote that really stuck with me, "I thought he was a better guy than this."

That`s the long-term problem Tiger Woods may have from this. Everyone is thinking, you know what, we all thought Tiger was a better guy than this.

HAMMER: Yes, I think that definitely what is fueling all of this interest and the speculation. And Tiger did put out the lengthy confession of sorts on his Web site admitting to what he called "transgressions".

But there`s the other of the argument today that Tiger`s transgressions are his business. We should stay out of it. Wow, did you see the fireworks on "The View" today? It exploded when Whoopie suggested we all just leave Tiger alone. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WHOOPIE GOLDBERG, HOST, "THE VIEW": Here`s my absolute honest opinion. Whether they get back together or not is not going to put any food on my table. Whether they come or whether his things -- his endorsements get gone is not going to make sure that my child is doing all the stuff she is supposed to.

It`s not the same...

(CROSSTALK)

BARBARA WALTERS, HOST, "THE VIEW": You might as well go home.

GOLDBERG: All right.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And out walks Whoopie.

Now the ladies of "The View" squared off on this today, but I want you to take a look at the front page of "The New York Post". Charles, can we put that up? There it is.

Tiger and his wife -- this is a mocked-up photo. Tiger looking beat up. The headline, "I`m a Cheetah".

Brooke, obviously a nasty picture. Do you think it`s uncalled for? Is he getting what he deserves here?

ANDERSON: You know, it`s harsh, but who is Tiger kidding. He is getting what he deserves. Listen, this guy is one of the biggest celebrities in the world. Did he not stop, pause, think? "This is going to hurt not only my wife, not only my family, but our entire future. This is also going to rock my world publicly because people are going to be interested in what I do. I`m Tiger Woods."

No A.J., he did not stop and ponder that because he was not thinking with the right part of his anatomy.

HAMMER: Exactly right, Brooke. Vinnie Politan, Leslie Marshall, I thank you as well. Don`t go anywhere.

Coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, the great debate. Should Tiger`s wife leave him? Everybody is talking about it. We`re going there and that is coming up.

Now to you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Tiger Woods scandal: should sponsors drop him? Vote at cnn.com/showbiztonight. E- mail us more of your thoughts to showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: It`s no joke when it comes to Tiger`s endorsements; we are talking millions and millions of dollars.

But tonight, I can tell you that lots of people are turning Tiger`s troubles into one big joke.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Now you can watch Tiger Woods being tortured in a Taiwanese computer-generated reenactment.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tonight, the joke`s on Tiger. The unbelievable brand-new ways Tiger Woods has become one big joke.

Also tonight, the party poopers: the reality show wannabes accused of crashing a White House party do the unthinkable today. Why, they have now got a lot of powerful people even more ticked off at them.

Also this:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STEVIE WONDER, SINGER: They should not be anywhere a person with a disability that cannot hear cannot have accessibility to the technology that is available today.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We need to evacuate at this time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: A scare for Stevie Wonder today at the United Nations. Why the building had to be evacuated right in middle of his speech.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: Now the "Showbiz News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BLACK EYED PEAS: To have a number one song for six months is a big accomplishment and we thank all our fans out there and our team, our management and our record company.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUPPETS PERFORMING "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY")

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s the Muppets doing Queen`s "Bohemian Rhapsody". I love this video. Tonight I can tell you I am definitely not he only one. In fact, the video has now gotten more than 8.5 million page views on YouTube since it debuted last week. And there are more Muppet videos on the way. A version of Carol of the Bells will be released on the Muppets YouTube Channel. It`s just in time for Christmas.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

And tonight A.J. the joke is on Tiger. Now, I don`t want to make light of what`s going on with Tiger Woods. These cheating accusations very serious; I really feel for his wife and family.

But that doesn`t mean others are not having a field day with it. People are getting a lot of laughs at Tiger`s expense.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MOOS: Usually we use animation to illustrate say, the H1N1 swine flue virus, going up a nostril. Or even the technique of water boarding. But now you can watch Tiger Woods being tortured in a Taiwanese computer generated reenactment.

It`s generating lots of laughs at least.

Critics are picking apart the re-creation, beating the wrong window. Tiger`s Escalade has been turned into a minivan. Reenactments are par for the course on Taiwan`s Apple daily Web site.

The online news service tends to animate any big news story. It isn`t a crime for animating violent crime too explicitly, especially crimes involving kids. And look who else they featured -- the couple that got into the White House state dinner.

Of course not all re-creations of news events have to be animated.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Craig moved his right foot so that it touched the side of my left foot.

MOOS: They used stand-ins to sit down and act out now former Senator Larry Craig adventures is in the newsroom. He used actors.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He was having this discussion with Nicole...

MOOS: To recreate testimony at O.J. Simpson`s civil trial. And though this doesn`t qualify as a reenactment...

CONAN O`BRIEN, NBC HOST: I understand they`ve already updated the latest version of Tiger`s video game.

MOOS: A sports comedy show in New Zealand recreated the version of Tiger`s story in which his wife rescued him.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The dramatic rescue is completed as Elin resuscitated her husband with CPR and mouth to mouth.

MOOS: The Taiwanese weren`t the first to animate Tiger. Gatorade also did it training him as a boy in an ad. Tiger`s recreation has inspired jokes.

What`s the difference between a Cadillac Escalade and a golf ball? Tiger Woods can drive a golf ball 400 yards.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And that Cadillac Escalade Tiger crashed reportedly has $8,000 in damage but Tiger`s got so much cash, those repairs won`t make a dent in his wallet.

HAMMER: A dent, eh? Well Brooke I can tell you that the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines almost crashed today. The lines have been so jammed up. All the calls are coming about Tiger Woods.

ANDERSON: A.J. our callers really divided over whether should be a private matter between Tiger and his wife. We got a call in to "Showbiz on Call" from Lori in Florida. She thinks the cheating scandal should be kept private.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER (via telephone): Tiger is like you said a very private person. I know he`s a superstar and he has all these endorsements, but ultimately he is just a man. I feel like this is a personal matter between him and his wife.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thank you Lori.

HAMMER: We also heard from Babette (ph) calling in to "Showbiz on Call" and Babette says, "Tough noogies (ph). Tiger lost his privacy when he decided to become a big time golfer.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER (via telephone): You know if Tiger Woods doesn`t want his legs and everything in the news, then he should not be a public figure. Either get out of the public eye or stop messing around with other women.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right Babette, thanks for your call. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call". Sound off on Tiger or anything else that is on your mind.

ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are open 24/7. Give us a ring at 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that`s 1-888-728-2899. Leave a voice mail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Well, the ladies of the view were all fired up about the privacy issue this morning. Wait until you see how they went at it. It was all out war, I tell you.

Should everyone just leave Tiger alone or should Tiger`s wife tell him to take a hike? It`s the brand new Tiger debate right here.

Also tonight, the party poopers: the reality show wannabes accused of crashing a White House party do the unthinkable today. Why they have now a lot of powerful people even more ticked off at them.

And today Chris Brown reacts for the first time to Rihanna`s tell-all interview about how he beat her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA, SINGER: He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him, almost as though he had nothing to lose.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: I have to tell you I`m really shocked by the way Chris responded to this. I don`t think he is doing himself any favors here. I will play for you Chris Brown`s interview. Did he blow it again? Will you decide for yourself?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

It`s time now for the "Showbiz News Ticker"; these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: J.Lo goes boom: Jennifer Lopez falling on her very famous booty there at the American Music Awards. Today, for the very first time on TV, J.Lo is revealing that not only was that fall embarrassing, she actually hurt herself.

When J.Lo dropped herself on the floor, she originally said, "I meant to do that and it was all part of her dance routine," but there was no way anybody believed that that actually was the case because Lopez is known for being such a perfectionist.

So today on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show", J.Lo talked about what made her slip and ding her derriere. It was kind of funny to watch, but Jennifer actually got hurt. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNIFER LOPEZ, SINGER: I wanted to dance. She was like, "Are you OK?" I`m like "Oh, my God, that`s right, I fell. I fell. That was awful."

ELLEN DEGENERES, TV TALK SHOW HOST: Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?

LOPEZ: No. I`m messed up.

DEGENERES: Yes. What do you have?

LOPEZ: I have like a -- you know, like a bruised bone. What happened was that the dancers -- it was slippery from sweat and lights and everything. We never bargained for that because they always had t-shirts in rehearsal. They were bare backed -- they didn`t have shirts for the performance. When I stepped on their backs and my feet were wet.

When I landed and I just slipped from under.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And in fine Ellen style, Ellen also gave J.Lo a cushion, some kneepads and a helmet.

ANDERSON: A.J., I can tell you that our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fans are kicking butt and taking names about the alleged party crashers. I just checked. We are still getting tons of posts on our wall about the Salahis.

Jayne D. writes, "To me they did the country a favor by revealing the money we pay for security is not well spent."

Edward D. doesn`t agree. He writes, "These people are desperate to be famous. Get a life."

Kim O. really made me laugh with this. She wrote, "I wouldn`t be surprised if Heidi and Spencer Pratt pulled something like that. Those two wannabes show up everywhere uninvited."

I want to hear from you on Facebook. Also follow us on Twitter for breaking entertainment news alerts. Sign up for our Facebook and Twitter pages at cnn.com/showbiztonight.

HAMMER: And now the "Showbiz Lineup". Here`s what`s coming up SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

The great debate over Tiger`s privacy: should everyone just leave Tiger alone and should Tiger`s wife tell him, "Take a hike?"

A scare for Stevie Wonder today at the United Nations; why the building had to be evacuated right in the middle of his speech.

And the reality show wannabes accused of crashing a White House party do the unthinkable today. Why more powerful people are mad at them.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "Showbiz News Ticker"; more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Tiger`s transgressions. Will his marriage fail? Brand new developments in Tiger Woods cheating scandal today. Should his wife stand by her man or send him packing?

Tonight, the fired up Tiger debate.

Tonight Chris Brown reacts for the very first time to Rihanna`s tell- all interview about how he beat her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA: He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him. It was almost as though he had nothing to lose.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did Chris Brown blow it again? Wait until you see how he responds in today`s brand new interview.

The White House party crashers: these two love going to D.C. events. How come they were a no-show today when they were invited to Congress?

Plus more stories breaking from the "Showbiz News Ticker".

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood.

Tonight, should Tiger Woods`s wife stand by her man? After Tiger`s shocking transgression confession, can Tiger`s marriage survive?

HAMMER: Yes Brooke. A lot of people asking that very question tonight just after the bizarre cancellation today of a press conference by the woman first named in Tiger`s mistress scandal. I can tell you this conference that never was is making for big news breaking.

Rachel Uchitel slammed allegations she had an affair with Tiger. So why in the world did she schedule a press conference today only to cancel it just before it was supposed to happen? What gives?

And with all this swirling around Tiger, a great debate broke out over whether Tiger`s wife should stand by her man? Should Elin kick Tiger to the curb?

We also have the startling brand new results that just came in today. Our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll which asked does Tiger deserve his privacy?

Joining me tonight in Atlanta is Vinnie Politan. He`s a host for "In Session". Also tonight in Hollywood, Leslie Marshall, host of the incredible talk radio show, "The Leslie Marshall Show".

Let`s begin with this bizarre press conference that never was. Rachel Uchitel`s famed celebrity attorney, Gloria Allred, planned to unveil some kind of revelation about Uchitel`s relationship with Tiger this morning. But just hours before this thing was supposed to happen, it was canceled.

And Brooke Anderson, the reasoning behind this cancellation very strange, right?

ANDERSON: Yes. That`s right, A.J. The official statement was short and very mysterious. It read, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the news conference scheduled for today is canceled. There will be no further statements on this matter.`

A.J. you really have to wonder what it took to shut down a Gloria Allred press conference because this woman loves to hold press conferences.

HAMMER: Yes, never met a press conference she didn`t want to hold. And you have to wonder what was going on there behind closed doors. The presser was apparently designed to give a statement about Rachel`s relationship with Tiger Woods.

Vinnie Politan, off to you. Something smells fishy here, doesn`t it?

POLITAN: Let me give you a hypothetical. Let`s just pretend that I`m a lawyer and let`s pretend that I represent someone who had an affair with someone who is very famous, who doesn`t want those details to come out. How would I somehow push forward a settlement in the case and get as much as I could as quickly as possible?

Maybe I will schedule a press conference and kind of leak out a little bit, a piece of revelation. All of a sudden the negotiation speeds up and -- guess what-- maybe just maybe I get a settlement and there`s no press conference and you never learn any of those details.

Just a hypothetical, A.J.

HAMMER: Yes. To be clear, Vinnie Politan is speaking purely hypothetically there.

POLITAN: Hypothetically. Just grabbing something out of the air, A.J.

HAMMER: Listen, we can`t deny the amount of speculation going on that this press conference would have revealed yet another scandal for Tiger Woods just 24 hours, of course, after 24-year-old cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs came forward claiming that she was Tiger Woods`s mistress. She released this incriminating voice mail. It was posted on usmagazine.com and she claimed it is the voice of Tiger Woods on this message. Listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, it`s Tiger.

I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you; so if you can please take your name off that and just have it as a number on the voicemail. Just have it as your telephone number.

That`s it. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Ok. All right. Bye.

Again, we have not independently confirmed that that is Tiger Wood`s voice, but assuming for a moment that it is, add to that this bizarre canceled press conference, Tiger`s transgression confession, you have to wonder how Tiger`s marriage to Elin could possibly survive. It seems like things are stacked up against him.

Leslie Marshall, what do you think? Should Elin stand by her man at this point or just kick him to the curb?

MARSHALL: Kick him to the curb with a nine iron. Some people would say a seven -- I`m not a golfer. I don`t know. But kick him to the curb. Sorry. Take him to the bank.

Hello, this is Tiger. Talk about dumb. Not hey, it`s me. This is terrible. This woman has been embarrassed. This is a private matter; he apologizes publicly to further embarrass her.

She has two little ones. She gave up her career. I say kick him to the curb.

HAMMER: Yes. Obviously a whole lot of trust lost here. Vinnie, given everything that is going on and who know what`s coming, is there any way this marriage can survive in your mind.

POLITAN: I don`t know. Well, they have two children, two very young children. And I don`t know his wife. I don`t know how forgiving she can be.

But the key to the whole was transgressions, the plural. That I think is the biggest problem. But, you know, hopefully they can work through it for the kids if they still love each and they can trust each other. But if not, I could very well see this thing breaking apart and may or may not be a nasty divorce. Who knows?

The bottom line here is that it`s up to this couple to figure out if they can trust one another specifically if she can trust him.

HAMMER: Yes. Nasty or not, it could get very expensive, not that that`s the most important thing here. But there is the big question of money. Tiger earned over $100 million just in the last year.

Brooke Anderson, I would have to think that even if there is a pre- nup, there`s been talk of it. We haven`t confirmed it. Tiger has got to be shaking in his golf shoes right about now about what this could cost him.

ANDERSON: No doubt A.J. But you know, he could stand to part with some of his massive fortune. This guy is estimated to be worth nearly half a billion dollars. So if they do split, I think Elin deserves a significant chunk of his fortune for what he`s put her and his family through. It`s terrible.

HAMMER: Yes, I think a lot of people agree with you on that.

And in Tiger`s incredibly well-crafted statement, he does go out of his way to demand for privacy for what he called his transgressions. Some people are saying, "You know what? Hey, you are a public figure. You signed us up to support you so deal with it."

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did catch up with somebody who knows all about being in the spotlight. Actor Matt Dillon, he was promoting his movie "Armored" and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asked him if he thinks Tiger deserves privacy. Here`s what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MATT DILLON, ACTOR: If somebody`s going through something like that, it`s their personal life. I mean, the guy has given himself as a golfer and that`s his talent, that`s what he does. But he`s a human being like anybody else. Whatever happened happened in the privacy of his property.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tiger is only human and deserves his privacy according to Matt there. But Leslie, it really is easier said than done in Tiger`s case, no?

MARSHALL: Oh, absolutely. First of all, if you want privacy, don`t publicly apologize. If you want privacy, don`t, you know, allegedly sleep around with people that are going to tell somebody and have their hand out allegedly for money. Look for a book deal or host a talk show.

When you are a celebrity you give up a lot of that privacy and everyone knows that, whether it`s in sports or movies. And certainly the public apology I think brought a very private matter, I agree with Matt Dillon on that, to the public`s attention. And now it`s out there.

HAMMER: Well, I want to show what SHOWBIZ TONIGHT viewers are saying about this. They`re very fired up over the whole the right to privacy that Tiger wants.

Here are the results of the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT polls just handed to me. Here`s what we asked: Tiger Woods admits transgressions, does he deserve privacy as you see? Look at that, one sided -- 78 percent say he deserves privacy and 22 percent no.

Vinnie, despite the voice mail, the transgressions, are you surprised people are still right there with Tiger saying he should get privacy?

POLITAN: I think people don`t like the intrusion into their lives, but these are people who have put themselves into our lives. And obviously I think Tiger is very naive if he thinks people are not going to be interested in things like this happening in his life. He`s the pitch man for all these products. He`s the guy who is in our face when we walk through the airport. It`s not like we put him in our lives. He put himself in our lives

HAMMER: And representing himself with this image of a family man as we buy the products that he promotes.

POLITAN: Sure.

HAMMER: Vinnie Politan, Leslie Marshal. Thanks, guys.

POLITAN: Thank you.

HAMMER: All right. We have been asking you to vote on this SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Tiger Woods scandal: should his sponsors drop him? Let us know about that at cnn.com/showbiztonight or e-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: A scary scene at the United Nations today while Stevie Wonder was there accepting a new title.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WONDER: To not be anywhere a person with disability that cannot hear, cannot have accessibility to the technology that`s available today. Ok.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We need to evacuate at this time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tonight, why Stevie and everybody else had to evacuate twice.

Plus Stevie`s new role with the U.N. just announced today.

The White House party crashers; you know these two never met an invitation they didn`t like. So wait until you hear the invitation they turned down today. And it could mean some serious trouble for them.

And tonight Chris Brown reacts for the very first time to Rihanna`s tell-all interview about how he beat her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA: He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him. It`s almost as though he had nothing to lose.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Did Chris Brown blow it again?

Just wait until you see how he responds in a brand new interview today.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: Now the "Showbiz News Ticker"; more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

COLBIE CAILLAT, SINGER: I`m very surprised and very honored to be nominated four times for Grammys. I can`t believe that I`m kind of speechless.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: It would seem the heat is still on Adam Lambert for that ultra-racy performance at the American Music Awards. Just today another one of his appearances canceled.

Looks like ABC thinks that Adam Lambert is still too hot for TV. For the second time now since the American Music Awards the network has canceled an appearance. On his Twitter account today, Adam confirms that ABC did cancel a scheduled appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live".

But he says don`t blame ABC. It`s the heat from the FCC. The FCC and the network got thousands of complains after Lambert`s AMA performance.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Tonight, the White House party crashers turn out to be party poopers and it could mean big trouble. Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who are accused of crashing that White House state dinner were invited to testify before Congress today about the security breach but never showed up. Yes, they actually turned down an invitation. Go figure.

Also just in today, Chris Brown`s dramatic interview. Brown confronted with Rihanna`s chilling TV tell-all about how he beat her up. But did Chris blow his chance to save himself again?

Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Tanika Ray, who`s an entertainment journalist and in New York, it`s celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton. Perez is also the author of an explosive new book, "Perez Hilton`s True Bloggywood Stories".

Hey guys. Hey Perez, congrats on that new book.

TANIKA RAY, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Hi.

PEREZ HILTON, CELEBRITY BLOGGER: Thanks you.

ANDERSON: I want to get right to this.

The unthinkable happened today. The reality show wannabes, Michaele and Tareq Salahi said no, thank you to an invitation to appear today before a Congressional committee hearing investigating their alleged party crashing.

Well, this got the ladies of "The View" talking and Elisabeth Hasselbeck made what I thought was a pretty good suggestion to get the Salahis to show up. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, HOST, "THE VIEW": I think if they really want them there, they should tell them they are not invited to testify and then maybe they will show up.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Perez, You have to love that. Is Elisabeth on to something? Is the only way to get the Salahis to show up to an event not to invite them? Kind of like what apparently happened at the White House.

HILTON: Absolutely. They are not to be taken seriously, but they did do something very serious which should have a lot of the people on their toes and might result in some firings at the White House.

I think actually what needs to happen is that the White House crashers and balloon boy and his parents need to do a reality TV show together.

ANDERSON: I`m sure it`s in the works Perez.

RAY: Oh no. I cringe thinking that. I just cringe thinking about that possibility Perez. And I think Elisabeth is right, maybe a little reverse psychology with the Salahis could help.

ANDERSON: But you know what? I couldn`t help thinking today about the Salahis who may now be subpoenaed to appear before Congress, I couldn`t help thinking that they have something in common with Tiger Woods, Tanika. Like Tiger, shouldn`t the Salahis just come clean about what really went on?

RAY: Yes, the jig is up, but the problem is that they probably have been doing this for a long time. Apparently there are a couple of parties that they`ve crashed before. So this is over and they come clean then they won`t be able to crash any more parties in the future. And I have a feeling that they probably get a little bit of a high off of that.

It`s like they don`t belong but they want to belong and they let everybody think that they belong. So again, perception is reality, but it`s really over. What are they going to do from hereon out? Are you going to invite them to your parties in Vegas, Perez?

HILTON: No, but I love them. You know why I love them? Because they are this new crop of people that I call in my book faux-lebrities. The real celebrities are boring now.

RAY: They`re multiplying. They`re multiplying and they`re everywhere.

(CROSSTALK)

ANDERSON: Oh, that`s too bad. That`s a great way to describe it, faux-celebrities.

I want to move on to another big story. It`s big news tonight. Chris Brown responds for the very first time to Rihanna`s recent tell-all TV interview on ABC describing how he beat her up the night before the Grammys.

Brown was interviewed by ABC`s Robin Roberts and this morning on Good Morning America, Robin replayed Rihanna speaking in explicit detail about what Brown did to her.

Roberts then asked Brown if Rihanna`s account of the night was accurate. Take a look at what he had to say.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRIS BROWN, SINGER: I was wrong for what I did. I would definitely say that it`s not something I look past or look over. Something that is really touchy. Like I said, I`m really sorry for what went down, what happened.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: There he goes again.

RAY: Yes.

ANDERSON: It really just blows my mind how Chris Brown dances around every single question.

Perez, shouldn`t he do himself a favor and once and for all answer the question about what really went down that night?

HILTON: Absolutely. But more importantly, I don`t understand why Chris Brown gave this interview. He has already spoken about it at length to Larry King, to Wendy Williams, to Big Boy on the radio.

After Rihanna gave her interview to Diane Sawyer, he criticized her. Chris Brown said he wished that she wouldn`t have spoken about the details of the evening. He should say and do what he speaks and shut his mouth. I don`t want to hear from Chris Brown anymore.

RAY: Album sales. Apparently it`s not selling as well as he thought it would. And here`s the ridiculous thing. The best part of the interview was watching him watch her tell her story to Diane Sawyer. And then once he opened his mouth it was anti-climactic.

It was like, come on Chris. You had so many opportunities to reveal your soul and really be honest with us. That`s all we have been wanting since February. And he ruined the opportunity again.

ANDERSON: Exactly. All this beating around the bush is just maddening. He does not need to do interviews until he is ready to be open and forthcoming. Maybe with the next one, he`ll change his tune a little bit.

RAY: Turn the station. Turn the station.

ANDERSON: Tanika Ray, Perez Hilton. Thank you both. And Perez`s book, "Perez Hilton`s True Bloggywood Stories" is on sale now.

HAMMER: A scary scene at the United Nations today while Stevie Wonder was accepting an award.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STEVIE WONDER, SINGER: They should not be anywhere a person with a disability that cannot hear cannot have accessibility to the technology that is available today. Ok.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We need to evacuate at this time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, why Stevie and everyone else had to evacuate twice.

Plus Stevie`s new role with the U.N. just announced today.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now the "Showbiz News Ticker"; more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WONDER: Nor should there be anywhere in the world, where a person who is blind, with that disability...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m sorry. We have (INAUDIBLE).

We need to evacuate at this time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It was a scary scene at the United Nations in New York City today. Stevie Wonder was right in the middle of speaking when the building was evacuated.

This certainly was unbelievable. Today Stevie Wonder was being named a United Nation`s messenger of peace, focusing on helping people with disabilities when all of a sudden the building had to be evacuated. Stevie had just started speaking when an alarm went off.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WONDER: I am trying to figure out a new melody.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`m thinking I would leave the room when the siren starts. Everybody did get up and leave. When they all got the all-clear to come back they had to evacuate again.

As it turns out, the alarm was triggered by some smoke from some construction going on at the U.N. Everybody was fine and when Stevie finally got to speak about his new role as U.N. messenger of peace, he said it was truly an honor and he talked about his work to help people with disabilities.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WONDER: It is beyond my ability to fathom that 10 percent of the people of this world don`t matter to the other 90 percent of the people in the world. I am not able to believe that.

And the only way that you can show and that we can show our caring about that 10 percent is by doing something to make the world more accessible and for people to be accepted with disabilities by committing ourselves to opening all the doors and all the possibilities for those who are physically challenged in anyway.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What a remarkable person Stevie Wonder is. As the 11th person to be named U.N. messenger of peace, Stevie Wonder joins a pretty elite list here. It includes Nobel Prize Winner, Eli (INAUDIBLE) and actor Michael Douglas.

ANDERSON: On Wednesday we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Just moments ago we got the final results. Tiger Woods admits transgressions. Does he deserve privacy? Look at this, 78 percent of you say yes he does; only 22 percent of you say no.

Here are some of the e-mails we received.

Mary from Florida: "Does in the public eye mean anything to him? You are scrutinized 24/7. Live up to the image you`ve created, Tiger.

Sonya from North Carolina writes, "I feel that he should be left alone to handle his marital problems in private as he has asked. It`s really none of our business.

We appreciate your e-mails.

HAMMER: And we appreciate your watching.

That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I am Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Don`t forget you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11s; 11:00 p.m. Eastern, 11:00 p.m. Pacific, and in the morning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on HLN.

JOY BEHAR, HLN HOST: Next on "THE JOY BEHAR SHOW" while Mrs. Tiger Woods pulls out the pre-nup, an alleged mistress cancels a press conference, curious.

Then the uninvited White House guests refuse to testify and Adam Lambert is dis-invited for more ABC shows. I will get the scoop from the notorious Perez Hilton.

And a man of a thousand funny faces and voices the marvelous Marty Short joins me. All that and a lot more after the break.
