Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

And tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is putting together the pieces in the Michael Jackson death mystery. And we`re now revealing that this is shaping up as a possible case of manslaughter.

Four weeks ago tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first brought you the almost unbelievable news that Michael Jackson was dead. And now, four weeks later, we are revealing the shocking number of unsolved mysteries that remain. And one of them is this - will someone or more than one person be arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with Jackson`s death?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that the startling possibility is no longer out of the question, which is why it is making big news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: CNN can now confirm from the L.A. coroner that Michael Jackson is dead.

HAMMER (voice-over): It`s been a month since we heard the shocking news that Michael Jackson is dead. Now, a month later, the search into what killed him is taking a shocking turn.

With cops, feds and other authorities conducting surprise searches, issuing subpoenas for medical records and questioning medical personnel linked to Jackson, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is putting together all the pieces and can reveal the Michael Jackson investigation is starting to resemble a manslaughter case.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": I think with the search with Dr. Murray`s clinic, it just adds to the growing suspicion this is a criminal investigation and that there might be manslaughter charges.

HAMMER: Let`s follow the trail. In Houston, Texas, Los Angeles police officers and federal agents, armed with a search warrant, pull off a surprise and totally unexpected raid on the offices of Jackson`s doctor, Conrad Murray. Murray is the cardiologist who was with Jackson at his home when he died a month ago.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We have a gentleman here that needs help, and he`s not breathing.

HAMMER: Murray`s attorney used an explosive word in describing the search, telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, quote, "The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents they believe constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter."

SERAFIN: That`s the first time that we`ve heard from anyone in this investigation, anyone involved using the term "manslaughter."

HAMMER: Dr. Murray`s attorney has said his client didn`t do anything wrong and, quote, "should not be a target of criminal charges."

SERAFIN: He`s already given two interviews to the Los Angeles Police Department and, at this point, they have said he`s a witness but he`s not a suspect.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, with the next piece of the puzzle. In Los Angeles, this TMZ video shows officials from the L.A. Coroner`s Office getting Jackson`s medical files from Jackson`s former nurse.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Are you visiting with other doctors, like a multiple variety of doctors?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I can`t comment on that.

HAMMER: That nurse, Cherilyn Lee, recently came to CNN with the explosive claim that Jackson begged her to get him the powerful anesthetic Propofol, also known as Diprivan. That`s the drug cops reportedly found in Jackson`s house after his death.

NANCY GRACE, HOST, "NANCY GRACE": What is in the medical file that would be relevant to Jackson`s death?

HAMMER: After the visit by investigators, Lee called HLN`s Nancy Grace.

CHERILYN LEE, MICHAEL JACKSON`S FORMER NURSE: They really just want a hard copy of what I had already stated. And they just had to follow legal, you know, protocol for obtaining a medical file.

SERAFIN: Obviously, this investigation has gone beyond whether or not Michael Jackson died of natural causes. Everyone is clearly focusing on his drug use.

HAMMER: With their search in Houston and their interest in Jackson`s medical records, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you it is clear the cops are looking into a key question - did any of Jackson`s doctors illegally help the pop star feed a drug habit that may have led to his death? If so, some defense attorneys say that could become a manslaughter case.

PAUL CALLAN, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: We would have to assume that if a doctor and in this case, if it were Conrad Murray, prescribed the drug, he prescribed it in a reckless or grossly reckless manner knowing that it might cause the death of the patient. That`s where it crosses the line.

HAMMER: Jackson`s father Joe told "LARRY KING LIVE" he suspects some kind of foul play.

JOE JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S FATHER: The doctor gave him something to make him rest and then he don`t wake up no more, something was wrong there.

HAMMER: And Jackson`s sister, La Toya, was even more blunt to TMZ.

LA TOYA JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S SISTER: It`s murder. I think someone did it. That`s my opinion.

HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has to point out, no one has been charged in this case and authorities aren`t saying who, if anyone, they`re targeting. So far now, all this manslaughter talk is still just that - talk.

SERAFIN: We have really not officially said that this is a criminal investigation. And until those autopsy results come back, which probably won`t be for another week, week and a half, we really don`t definitively know.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: So, a month after Michael Jackson`s death, are manslaughter charges inevitable?

Well, joining me tonight in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz. He is a correspondent for "Extra." Also from Hollywood tonight, Lisa Bloom, who is a CNN legal analyst.

And this is the first time manslaughter is being used to describe possible criminal charges in this investigation. Lisa Bloom, what exactly does that mean, manslaughter?

LISA BLOOM, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: Well, murder is the highest homicide charge. That`s the premeditated killing of another. Nobody`s talking it in this case.

What we`re talking about is a lower level homicide crime, the taking of a human life negligently. In other words, somebody had a high degree of carelessness and recklessness in their behavior that killed Michael Jackson, even though they didn`t intend to do it. That`s the idea behind manslaughter.

So, for example, if a doctor gave him some medication that the doctor knew was dangerous, knew would interact with the other drugs in a dangerous way, that could be manslaughter.

HAMMER: Yes. Or perhaps, knew wasn`t supposed to be applied in a certain way, for instance, an anesthetic at a home where it`s only supposed to be used in a hospital or something like that.

BLOOM: Right. Yes, exactly.

HAMMER: Carlos, what do you think? With all we`ve seen over the past couple days - the raid on the doctor`s office, the feds getting involved here - does it seem to you that manslaughter charges of some sort are inevitable in this thing?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Especially since Dr. Conrad Murray`s own attorney had said that that`s what the authorities were looking for when they made the raid on his Houston clinic. And keep in mind, too, it`s a much easier charge, if you will, than murder.

I talked to several lawyers today and that was the consensus of everybody, that if you`re going to go after these doctors for murder, it`s a lot more difficult than going after them simply for manslaughter.

HAMMER: It certainly does feel like it`s heading down that path. One of the many things at the center of this investigation is whether someone was giving Michael an anesthetic, as I`ve mentioned. And in this case, the powerful anesthetic propofol and whether or not that drug was actually the one that killed Michael Jackson.

Well, former Jackson attorney Mark Geragos was on "Good Morning America" this morning. He revealed how investigators can actually track this down. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARK GERAGOS, FORMER JACKSON ATTORNEY: If they can find out who supplied this drug, and they can usually do that by going to the manufacturer and seeing whatever the lot number it is, if there`s not a prescription on it, and then kind of working backwards to see where it was shipped to, they can link it to a particular doctor, show that that doctor should have known, and it appears by all accounts that most doctors, if not all doctors think this drug shouldn`t be in the house.

If they can find that, I think that it`s fairly likely that some prosecutor would - an aggressive prosecutor would file charges.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I mean, we all watch "CSI." This seems like pretty basic forensics here, Lisa Bloom. All seems traceable. And if this drug was actually involved, does it seem to you manslaughter charges are inevitable?

BLOOM: Well, it does. And propofol is a very serious, heavy-duty sedative. It makes people unconscious. It knocks them out like a general anesthetic would for surgery.

Clearly, this is not appropriate to give somebody in their own home just for pain management or to help them sleep. And if it was Dr. Murray or whatever doctor gave this to Michael Jackson, is looking at some very serious legal problems without a doubt.

HAMMER: And add to the cast of characters somebody who actually was front and center, almost right after Michael Jackson died, Cherilyn Lee. That was Michael Jackson`s nurse, remember her?

Well, just hours after Dr. Murray`s office was raided, then investigators served a subpoena to her. Not saying she did anything wrong. They just served the subpoena to get some information.

Lee had told CNN, as you probably remember, that Michael Jackson begged her to get him propofol. She, of course, refused. But Carlos, does it seem to you that this Cherilyn Lee, this nurse, could actually become perhaps the linchpin in helping investigators figure out whether manslaughter charges could be filed here?

DIAZ: One hundred percent completely, A.J. I mean, here`s the thing - if she didn`t want to give him Diprivan or propofol and she was completely against it, she said, "No, Michael, I`m not going to do that," wouldn`t she have the intent now to say, "Yes, I want to go after the guys that did give it to him. I want to help authorities get these guys who did."

And yes - so it completely makes sense that she was subpoenaed because she can now completely help authorities go after the guys that possibly killed Michael Jackson.

HAMMER: What do you think about that, Lisa? Because we remember when Cherilyn Lee, the nurse who worked with Michael Jackson first came on CNN and was saying how Michael Jackson, was begging her for propofol, it really does sort of set up this pattern of behavior, if you will. Do you think she will be a very important factor in them figuring out exactly what heck happened here?

BLOOM: Yes, she`s really the whistleblower in this case. She`s the ethical medical practitioner who`s got the guts to come forward and say, "I said no."

And by the way, a lot of people, non-celebrities, go to doctors and nurses and beg for certain medications. And the ethical ones like Nurse Lee say, "No. It`s not safe. I can`t give you that."

The problem is, with celebrities, especially A-list celebrities like Michael Jackson, some doctors find it very hard to say no, but they are ethically obligated to say no. If they gave him dangerous drugs, they should be held legally responsible.

HAMMER: There is absolutely no question about that. And hopefully, now that all this evidence has been gathered, the raids have happened, subpoenas have been served, hopefully, things will start to turn around and we`ll see some real answers as to what killed Michael Jackson, a huge mystery still. Carlos Diaz, Lisa Bloom, thank you both.

And coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, here we are, one month since Michael Jackson died. Tonight, we have to look into the top five biggest unsolved mysteries.

And as we move on tonight, I`ve got to say, Jon Gosselin has really been hitting the tabloid circuit hard with his new girlfriend. But now, things, I`ve got to tell you, are getting a little twisted. Try to follow along with me if you can.

Jon steps out with a new Kate, and the two of them are hanging out with Lindsay Lohan`s dad. What the heck is that all about? And doesn`t Jon have a new girlfriend? What`s going on here? What about her? Well, it is playing out like a really bad reality show. Sadly, all of this is real.

Also, the peephole shocker. Tonight, brand-new outrage over suggestions that that beautiful ESPN reporter who was secretly filmed nude through a peephole could somehow bear some of the blame.

We have also got this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`m sad. That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Well, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT phone lines have been buzzing with calls about Michael Jackson and Jermaine Jackson speaking out in his brother`s defense.

We`ve got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Kathy in Iowa. Kathy says, she agrees with Jermaine, that everyone needs to just leave Michael alone.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: I agree with Jermaine. People need to understand, yes, this is a news story. But he is someone`s son, father, brother, and it hurts. It hurts them. And you have to put yourself in their place, you know? It doesn`t make any difference that he was a pop idol and all that stuff. This deserves the peace that he so desperately needed. Everybody just needs to just back off and let him rest in peace.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thank you so much, Kathy. We appreciate your call. We also heard from Tiffine in Georgia calling in to "Showbiz on Call." Tiffine says let the family grieve.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer with some more stories that are new right now.

Remembering Walter Cronkite tonight. Earlier today, friends, family and a host of the biggest names in broadcasting all gathered in St. Bartholomew`s Church in New York City to remember the legendary anchorman.

Some of the most familiar faces included Dan Rather. Katie Couric was there. So was Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw, Charlie Gibson and Barbara Walters, just to name a few.

And in an emotional tribute, "60 Minutes" correspondent Andy Rooney recounted meeting and reporting with Cronkite from a war zone. But sadly, Rooney became so emotional he left the stage speechless. Take a look.

ANDY ROONEY, CORRESPONDENT, "60 MINUTES": We would each go toe a base that we liked. And we`d write our stories and then we would go back to the headquarters of the Air Force. And they had it set up so that we could write and send our stories from there.

And that`s when I got to know Walter Cronkite, got to know him well. You get to know someone pretty well in a war. I just - I just feel so terrible about Walter`s death that I can hardly say anything. He`s been such a good friend over the years. Please excuse me. Thank you.

HAMMER: Walter Cronkite died Friday at the age of 92. He will be sorely missed.

Well, tonight, T.R. Knight setting the record straight on why he has left "Grey`s Anatomy." You might remember that T.R. was caught up in a swirl of controversy on the set of "Grey`s." That was after the world heard that his co-star, Isaiah Washington, used a gay slur when referring to Knight.

Well, T.R. said even though Isaiah was fired, the tension with executive producer Shonda Rhimes only grew from there. He noticed that his character, George O`Malley, was getting less and less camera time, but he didn`t bother to ask why.

He tells "Entertainment Weekly," quote, "My five-year experience proved to me that I cannot trust any answer that was given about George. There just comes a time when it is so clear that moving on is the best decision. And with respect, I`m going to leave it at that."

Now, T.R. also claims that Rhimes didn`t agree with his decision to come out publicly as being gay. Rhimes tells "E.W." that is simply not true.

For more on T.R. Knight and the truth on why he left "Grey`s Anatomy," pick up a copy of "Entertainment Weekly" on newsstands Friday.

Here now the SHOWBIZ lineup. This is what we`ve got coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every time from New York City.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is revealing to you the top five biggest unsolved mysteries in Michael Jackson`s death. Exactly four weeks to the day after Michael Jackson`s sudden and tragic death, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now blowing the lid off the incredible number of aspects of the investigation still unsolved. It is amazing.

Tonight, the biggest mystery of all, of course, what killed Michael Jackson? With a massive investigation now under way and intense scrutiny of Michael`s alleged extreme use of prescription meds, why don`t we know yet how he died? Are there going to be any arrests?

And there are even more unsolved mysteries to investigate. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT wants to know where is Michael Jackson`s body and where will the Jackson family decide to bury him? It has been a month now.

Plus, the big unsolved mystery everybody`s talking about - what is going to happen to Michael Jackson`s three children? With an explosive custody battle under way and outrageous confusion over the biological parents, who ultimately is going to get custody of the kids?

Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Carlos Diaz, a correspondent for "Extra." Also tonight, in Hollywood, is Lisa Bloom who is a CNN legal analyst.

And let`s begin tonight with the biggest, most elusive, number one unsolved mystery on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s list of the Michael Jackson top five unsolved mysteries, what killed Michael Jackson?

Well, we have just learned that manslaughter has not been ruled out. There was that dramatic police raid on the office of Michael`s doctor, Conrad Murray. They were looking for all kinds of evidence. Lisa Bloom, why in the world is there still no word on what killed Michael Jackson one month after he died?

BLOOM: Well, because we`re still waiting for the toxicology results. Now, typically, it does take about six weeks, so that`s not all that surprising. What we do know, as you say, is that Dr. Conrad Murray`s own attorney used the word "manslaughter" yesterday in saying this was part of a manslaughter investigation.

So, yes, this is a serious investigation into a homicide crime. We know that Dr. Murray is at the center of it. The police may have some preliminary toxicology reports but we as the public just don`t have that yet.

HAMMER: And of course, everybody`s got a theory as to what killed Michael. Police looking at all of the doctors who may have prescribed Michael prescription meds. But Michael`s family, and especially his father, Joe Jackson, tells CNN`s Larry King that he thinks drugs definitely played a part in his death and that there is foul play here. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOE JACKSON: It wasn`t just only drugs, there`s just something else behind all of that. I`m thinking that it`s foul play. Yes, that`s what I`m thinking. If a doctor couldn`t bring you back, and this doctor - he ran away. They had to look for him three days to find him. So what do you think is happening? To me, that`s foul play.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Carlos, do you buy Joe Jackson`s theory of how to get to the bottom of this unsolved mystery, just look into the foul play?

DIAZ: Well, you know what? I don`t disagree with it. I think there`s no harm that can come from it, is what I should say. Because if investigators look at all aspects, including foul play, and they`re satisfied there wasn`t any foul play, well then, you rule that out.

I think you have to look at every single factor here. And I think the Jackson family, of course - they are grieving. They want answers and they`re pointing fingers right now. And it`s not a bad thing.

HAMMER: And this does bring us to the second of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s top five Michael Jackson unsolved mysteries. Will there be any arrests in the Michael Jackson investigation? Lisa Bloom, what do you think?

BLOOM: I think it`s highly likely we`re going to see arrests of some doctors. It may be that his doctors caved to Michael Jackson`s insistent demand to give him certain prescription medications.

If he has propofol in his system, for example - it`s a very heavy sedative used to knock people out and make them unconscious for surgery. That should not have been administered in Michael Jackson`s home by a private doctor. If it was, I think we will see an arrest.

HAMMER: And this doctor, Conrad Murray at the center of the investigation. His attorney has said he has done nothing wrong. But Carlos, don`t you think all of Michael`s doctors are probably a little nervous here, or they should be?

DIAZ: A.J., it is the definition of guilt by association. Because if you`re going after manslaughter charges, it`s not as difficult to prove as murder. So if they start throwing manslaughter charges at all these different doctors, if you`re just associated - your name is associated with Michael Jackson in this case, that doctor - I mean, it is complete guilt by association if you`re lumped in with all these other doctors who are involved with this.

HAMMER: Even if you`ve done nothing, time to lawyer up.

DIAZ: Exactly.

HAMMER: All right. We`ve got to move on to another enormous unsolved mystery we have to tackle tonight. Number three on our list, where is Michael Jackson`s body? I mean, here we are, a month later - Lisa Bloom, why do you think they are still keeping this such a mystery?

BLOOM: Yes. That`s astounding to me, A.J. That one I can`t explain at all why family members wouldn`t know where his body is. I mean, it may be that his remains are being held in a secured location because there are so many fans all over the world. And they don`t want anything bad to happen to it. But I find that very odd that family members have said to media, "We just don`t know where his body is."

HAMMER: Including Michael Jackson`s older brother Jermaine. He just gave this emotional, raw interview to French television. You`ve got to watch what he said when he was asked where Michael Jackson`s body is being held. Roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JERMAINE JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S BROTHER: I`m not sure if he is in Mr. Gordy`s crypt or whatever it is. But I was totally against that. I fought to get him at Neverland.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And he mentions Mr. Gordy`s crypt. That, of course, Berry Gordy, founder of Motown Records, who apparently has some private crypt.

This brings us to our number four mystery in our top five Michael Jackson unsolved mysteries, where will Michael be buried? Well, as you`ve heard, Jermaine`s fought to have him buried at Neverland. His mother, Katherine Jackson, wants him buried in a traditional cemetery. Carlos, why is this still an unsolved mystery. Let him rest in peace, I say.

DIAZ: There`s a case to be made for both, A.J. I mean, you can say Neverland because that way he`s got seclusion. You know, he`s not just in a normal cemetery. People can go and they can see them. And maybe they can revitalize Neverland to what it once was.

But you also have the argument that Michael never wanted to go back there after the child molestation case. And that`s why Katherine wants him at a traditional cemetery. But then, you`ve got to have 24-hour security there with all the fans that want to see his crypt as his grave.

HAMMER: Well, and to the point of, should he be buried at Neverland, Lisa Bloom, what do you think? Given that Michael made it very clear he didn`t want to go back to Neverland because of those bad memories, as Carlos mentioned, around the child molestation trial, is it actually likely that the family would defy their son`s wishes? He was very clear about that.

BLOOM: Yes. You know, people who live their lives in disarray tend to have disarray after their passing. It would have been great if he would have specified in his will, for example, where he wants to be buried. And then, we could have avoided all of this.

But we should look at what his intent would have been. Where do we think he would have wanted to go? He didn`t want to go back to Neverland. He made that clear in televised interviews. So it does make sense to put him in a cemetery or in a crypt somewhere where members of the public can visit, lay flowers on the grave and remember him the way they want to.

HAMMER: I do understand, we`re talking about Michael Jackson. These are unusual circumstances. But again, it is a month to the day since he passed away. It`s just so bizarre that this hasn`t been resolved.

All right. There is the unsolved mystery about what will happen to Michael`s kids. Michael, of course, wished custody to his mother, Katherine. But of course, there`s this big hoopla custody battle brewing as the biological parents decide whether or not they`re going to come forward. And the battle for custody continues.

Carlos, again, a month - nothing has been decided on, not even a hearing yet. This keeps getting delayed. What do you think is going to happen to Michael`s kids in your hearts of hearts?

DIAZ: Well, there are so many questions involved here, A.J. You know, is Debbie Rowe going to fight for custody? Is Michael the biological father? You know, what if Katherine passes? Who takes the kids? Then, does Diana Ross want the kids? Because she was named second in command.

Now, you have Michael`s other siblings now getting involved. There are so many factors involved here. And that`s why we still don`t have an answer to this.

HAMMER: And I certainly hope that if we`re sitting here, having another discussion one month from today, we have answers to all of these questions. Carlos Diaz, Lisa Bloom, thank you as always, guys.

Jon Gosselin`s date night with Kate and Lindsay Lohan`s dad. Yes, I just said that out loud. Wow. The reality star`s 22-year-old girlfriend nowhere in sight. The Kate in question - it`s not the mother of their eight kids I`m talking about.

And by the way, did I mention there`s a tabloid reporter in the middle of this drama too? I`m going to need to do a PowerPoint presentation. Hold on tight, this wild ride is coming up.

And who is to blame for the ESPN naked peeping shocker. There is brand-new outrage tonight after some actually suggest the female reporter herself may be to blame for being secretly taped in the nude. Wow.

HAMMER: And did Michael Jackson really name his daughter after Paris Hilton? Is it possible? We reveal the special life-long bond between the heiress and the King of Pop. And this is a story you have not heard. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Several staffers at coroner`s office improperly viewed M.J.`s death certificate. Sarah Jessica Parker surrogate snooping case might go to grand jury.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Tonight, the already super-bizarre story of Jon and Kate has hit an all-time new height of super-bizarreness. Does Jon Gosselin have a new Kate in his life? A brand-new bombshell in the father of eight`s love life, a date with a new Kate.

After Jon dined with Kate Major, a reporter for the tabloid, "The Star," they then hooked up with - are you ready for this - Lindsay Lohan`s dad in the Hamptons. All of this as Jon`s supposed 22-year-old girlfriend was gushing about how much they love each other.

But the new Kate doesn`t have a doll in her likeness like Jon`s soon to be ex-wife Kate Gosselin. Check these out. Brand-new tonight, Jon and Kate dolls now for sale online. Hey, get them while they`re hot.

And a brand-new twist to the peephole shocker drama. Tonight, why are some people suggesting the ESPN reporter who was secretly spied on while naked in her hotel room may have brought it on herself.

Joining me tonight, Suzanne Rozdeba who is an entertainment journalist. Also in New York is Lisa Bernhard who is an entertainment journalist.

So Jon Gosselin on a date with the other Kate in the Hamptons with Lindsay Lohan`s dad, Michael. And, if that`s not enough, Jill Zarin`s with them. She stars in "The Real Housewives of New York City."

Lisa, please help me out. Warn me if I need to be warned. Is this the end of days? Is Armageddon here? Can this get any more absurd? What`s happening?

LISA BERNHARD, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: There`s no other way to call it, A.J. No, look, this guy just got out of a marriage. Clearly, he`s running around, dating a bunch of different women. But Michael Lohan? Wrong dude to have a romance with. Do not do that. Do not go there. Not a good role model.

HAMMER: Truly.

BERNHARD: It is getting a bit nuts. And you know what? Just on a more serious note, Jon Gosselin chose to be on a reality show with his wife. Their kids didn`t have any choice in the matter, you know. And I just say at this point, maybe take it down a notch because these kids now have this to look back on and all this tabloid stuff and their legacy. And that`s not such a great thing.

HAMMER: Well, especially the idea that Jon did nothing but complain about the fact that he didn`t sign up for all the attention he gets. Guess what? You hang out in the Hamptons with Michael Lohan, you`re going to get the attention. I`m sorry. The question is, are Jon and this new Kate really dating? Because that`s the subject of a bit of debate.

Well, "Real Housewives`" Jill Zarin says this to People.com: "He didn`t seem smitten. They weren`t all over each other. But they`re definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him."

But wait, there`s more. "Star" magazine, who Kate Major worked for, released a statement today telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Kate actually resigned this morning because of a, quote, "conflict of interest between her reporting duties for the magazine and her relationship with Jon Gosselin." And I don`t know why I can`t deliver this without a smile on my face.

Suzanne, off to you. What do you make of Jon`s new relationship with the person who works really for the enemy, so to speak?

SUZANNE ROZDEBA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Yes. Fabulous. They`re all - you know, he`s hanging out with all D-listers in the Hamptons. They`re all gathering together. It`s completely ridiculous.

You know, Kate crossed the line. There never should have been a relationship there. She said herself that they were in a relationship. Jon apparently now is fuming and saying they`re not in a relationship and that he can`t believe that she came out and said this. There were lines that were crossed here. It is just getting out of control.

HAMMER: My head`s going to explode. Let`s not forget, by the way, that Jon just came back from Paris where he was first spotted holding hands with his current girlfriend, the daughter of his soon-to-be ex-wife`s plastic surgeon, 22-year-old Hailey Glassman. And she gushes, in the brand-new issue of "People" magazine, about their love.

But today, she`s singing a different tune. She basically told People.com that Jon`s dinner date with Kate Major was news to her. She seems totally blindsided by this, Lisa. But should she be?

BERNHARD: Yes, because there will probably be another blond tomorrow, I guess, that will come out through all of this. You know, the guy is just out there. I think he`s playing around.

I mean, clearly Hailey Glassman thought it was very serious when Jon was in her home with her parents. I mean, on the one hand, she said she wanted to give him all the freedom. And on the other hand, her quote yesterday was he fits right in with the family, which sounds like she was already ready to clamp down on him at 22 years old like she wanted a ring.

HAMMER: And by the way, if you`re looking to reenact this at home, you now, play along with the home game, you now have your chance to. Charles, can you put them up, please?

Jon and Kate action figures now being sold online. And if you really want to buy one, well, go ahead and Google it. We`ve got to move on because there is brand-new controversy tonight just burning up all over the Internet.

It has to do with the ESPN reporter Erin Andrews who was spied on while naked in her own hotel room through a peephole.

Now, "USA Today" columnist Christine Brennan made a lot of people angry. Here`s something that she wrote on Twitter, quote, "Women sports journalists need to be smart and not play to the frat house. There are tons of nuts out there."

Suzanne, off to you first. A lot of people outraged this, taking it as a suggestion that Erin Andrews from ESPN brought this on herself. Is that the impression that you got?

ROZDEBA: Absolutely. And it`s complete B.S. that this "USA Today" reporter came out and said this. Erin is hot. She`s smart. She`s a great reporter. And she has someone who is stalking her. It`s absolutely crazy that the "USA Today" reporter came out and said this.

HAMMER: Christine Brennan claims that her comments were misunderstood. But that said, Lisa, is Erin Andrews somehow responsible for what happened? I mean, that`s just outrageous, isn`t it?

BERNHARD: It`s a really trick thing to say. I think what Christine was implying was - I read a further quote where she said that she felt that Erin should be playing to the 12-year-old girls that were out there so as sort of lessen the way that she looks. That`s my understanding, but more into her deportment and her delivery.

HAMMER: Yes.

BERNHARD: I don`t know if Christine Brennan meant that she thought Erin was a little too flirtatious with the athletes and that that could be a little bit dangerous. But it`s tricky to go there either way. It`s a tough call. And clearly, it looks like some violation has occurred here.

HAMMER: All right. Got to wrap it here. Suzanne, Rozdeba and Lisa Bernhard, thank you so much for being with us tonight.

Well, we have been asking you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Jon and Kate: Has the split been better for Jon than Kate?" Continue to vote by going to CNN.com/ShowbizTonight or E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

Chace Crawford`s "Footloose" confession. The red-hot star of "Gossip Girl" is trading in the ritzy upper east side of New York City for some small town digs. It`s the remake of the 1984 classic "Footloose."

Kevin Bacon`s moves, of course, had everybody dancing in the aisles. Pretty tough shoes for Chase to fill here, to say the least. But Chase and Kevin have a very special bond. It is Chase`s remarkable revelation. Plus, what he learned for the very first time when he met Kevin. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHACE CRAWFORD, ACTOR: Definitely been practicing. It`s been tough. No, it`s good. I mean we`re putting in - got to put in the hours, you know. And she was just reading something with Kevin Bacon. And so it`s (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It makes you feel a little bit better. You didn`t know how to dance. I don`t know how to dance. So -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Have you met Kevin Bacon?

CRAWFORD: I have, briefly, at the White House correspondents` dinner, I met him. I guess the star is the man of the show. So he kind of came up to me and he`s like, dude, one more (INAUDIBLE) "Footloose" on the red carpet. (INAUDIBLE) He like, no. He wished me good luck and kind of - he made a few jokes about the original and how, you know, the original process of going through it, what he went through. It was cool. It was cool. I sort of got his handshake on the whole thing. So it`s kind of - I was kind of excited.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And there`s all kinds of excitement building up for the much- anticipated release of "Footloose." It`s due out next year.

Well, tonight, an Angelina Jolie exclusive from one of the most dangerous places in the world.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOLIE: This is the time to try to make some positive change. This is the moment.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What is Angelina Jolie doing in Baghdad? Angelina`s emotional plea in Iraq. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s got the brand-new exclusive one-on-one with Angelina Jolie. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Stevie Wonder, U2 among acts to perform for 25th anniversary of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. New study says more TVs in U.S. than people; average three TVs in every home.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tonight, did Michael Jackson name his daughter after Paris Hilton? Well, Paris reveals that her mom and Michael were best friends in high school.

Paris also says she considered him an uncle when she was growing up. So when he had his own little girl, Paris says Michael actually asked if it was OK to name her Paris, too.

She tells, "Extra," quote, "He always loved the name Paris. So he asked my mom if it was OK and of course she said yes. And I think she`s such a beautiful little girl and I`m proud we have the same name." That was the best I can do on that.

Now, an Angelina Jolie exclusive, this coming from one of the most dangerous places on earth. Now, as you know, Jolie is a U.N. goodwill ambassador. And she`s in Iraq right now, trying to help more than 3 million people forced from their homes because of the war.

The compassionate actress and mom of six was near Baghdad, speaking with families who are essentially refugees in their own country.

But even though Angelina is drawing some much-needed high-profile attention to the issue, she`s still urging everyone to do their part.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOLIE: There are still 3 million people displaced, innocent families. We have still many young men and women from our country who are fighting every day. There are many men and women from all countries who have lost their lives.

And this is a time to try to make some positive change. In working in Cambodia and other areas in the world I`ve worked in that so often you find that these countries years on have all these little problems because it was this moment that wasn`t given enough attention. It was this moment that we didn`t have enough support. They didn`t have the right education. And so this is the moment.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Angelina mentioned her work in Cambodia. That, of course, is where her oldest son Maddox was born. Angelina and Maddox are actually traveling together in the Middle East. Angelina is visiting Jordan where she`s being honored for her charity work.
