LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We're just getting this, literally. I'm just now getting this word here that a confidence vote being taken right now in the German parliament actually has passed for Gerhard Schroeder, the German Chancellor. As you may have known if you've been following the news, the German Chancellor has been proposing the use of -- actually some German troops in getting them involved in this U.S.-led coalition in the war against terrorism worldwide. German troops have not been deployed outside of that country for some 50 years or so and it took a vote of confidence from the parliament to actually approve that. And we're just now getting word that this vote of confidence actually has passed in their German parliament.

We'll have more coverage on that for you throughout the day right here -- throughout the morning, in fact, so make sure you stay tuned.
