| Breaking NewsAspen Plane Crash: Press Conference to Get Under Way ShortlyAired March 30, 2001 - 6:48 a.m. ETTHIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. LINDA STOUFFER, CNN ANCHOR: Right now, we are waiting for a press conference set to happen in just about 15 minutes from now at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time -- that press conference coming from Aspen Colorado. And we're hoping local authorities will be able to tell us a little bit more about what happened. A charter plane crashed last night just shy of the airport in Aspen, Colorado. JASON CARROLL, CNN ANCHOR: That plane took off from Burbank Airport and then went to LAX to pick up more passengers. The plane is owned an operated by Airborne Charter, which is owned by Cinergi Pictures. That's one of the major studios out here in Hollywood, which has produced films like "Rambo." There is no word yet on who was on board. Investigators are out there at the scene. They have described a lot of small wreckage and an impact crater. Again, as Linda was saying, there is going to be a press conference on this at 7:00 a.m. from the local authorities there. Hopefully, they can update us and bring us more information about exactly what happened there.
