As you know, we will be hearing from the presidential candidates tonight: Gore at 9:00 p.m., and Bush at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. We're also expecting to hear from Dick Cheney, who is expected to step up to these bank of microphones on the Senate side in just a few minutes, possibly seconds, to bring us up to date on the transition process. The dynamics are changing up on Capitol Hill. We'll also, in the next hour, hear -- be talking with Senator John Breaux of Louisiana, a prominent Democrat, who has been mentioned as a possible member in a Bush administration. So that's ahead. |
