CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: We want to recap some breaking new that we out of Israel today. In central Jerusalem, a car bomb exploded in the Mahane Yehuda market. It is the main produce market in central Jerusalem. Two people are dead. Nine people injured. It is believed that the two dead were inside the car which exploded. This now totals 179 people dead in more than five weeks of fighting. This on a day when we were waiting for remarks from Prime Minister Ehud Barak of Israel and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to make an announcement about an understanding on how to stop the violence. We will continue watching this situation in the Middle East to see what develops in that story.
