Amazon’s list of top 20 summer beach reads include new works, such as Mary Kay Andrews’ “Beach Town,” Sabaa Tahir’s “An Ember in the Ashes” and Pulitzer Prize winner David McCullogh’s biography of the Wright Brothers.

Prefer a tale of nature and endurance? Cheryl Strayed’s “Wild” made the list. Want to watch what you also read? Blake Crouch’s first book, “Pines,” in his “Wayward Pines” trilogy – now a limited series on Fox – is also on the list.
