At least 36 people were killed in a bus crash in southern Mexico early Sunday, the governor of the Mexican state of Veracruz said Sunday.
The bus collided with a cargo truck that was stopped on the side of a road during a trip from Villahermosa to Mexico City before 2 a.m. Sunday, Gov. Javier Duarte de Ochoa told CNN affiliate TV Foro.
Four injured people were taken to a hospital in Acayucan, the governor said.
