(CNN) -- People around the world, particularly in South Africa, are honoring the 95th birthday of former South African President Nelson Mandela by undertaking 67 minutes of community work.

From donating toys to orphans to making sandwiches for the homeless, people have been donating their time to those less fortunate in both heartfelt and innovative ways.
