Actor Robert Redford <a href='http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1663317_1663319_1669890,00.html' target='_blank'>made the environment his cause</a> decades ago, whether it was Alaskan wildlife refuges or climate change. For his commitment, Redford was honored with the Walden Woods Project's 2014 Global Environmental Leadership Award on September 15.
